Something I liked about TMNT: Mutant Mayhem was that the pop-culture references were all over the place, as opposed to skewing exclusively towards modern kids stuff or 80s-specific stuff. Take the scene where Donnie compares Mikey's head-shape to "Stewie from Family Guy and Hey Arnold."

Resurrecting dead actors is bad but a movie that excuses a war criminal and has sex pest in it 100% fine and undeserving of its backlash
