@@Ben-il3oc I was watching some NHL mic’d up videos. Now those were fun. Those guys swear like sailors and needle each other like crazy. It’s like every one of them goes out looking for a fight at every moment and will say anything they can to any opposing player to get one to bite.
I’m a White Sox fan and when I seen him coming out of the bullpen with that earpiece and microphone on, all I could say was “they’re really gonna put a microphone on Liam Hendriks? This should be good!” 😂
Lol as an Oakland A's fan, Let me just say... even White Sox fans arent fully aware yet of Liam's Australian level of cursing... You could hear that man from space on a normal Thursday Matinee in Oakland.
Man, I rarely hate on announcers but wish Buck had better questions or conversation to ask the mic players anyways. They just led to force laughter by players. But it’s tough task. Smoltz didn’t seem interested in conversing but just commenting on game.
I was thinking the same thing. If I had a chance to talk to the star players, I’d at least think of some unique questions for them. Even if they are just silly. Instead they just talked about basic things
“what’s it like watching/playing against tatis jr?” “what’s it like watching/playing against ohtani?” come on i wanna know what freddie’s favorite beer is, not this boring shit lol
I remember sitting pretty close to the field at a Sox-As game years ago when Manaea pitched (Got to support my fellow Indiana State graduate) and I was sitting next to a couple of other of Sean’s friends (one being Uber religious). I don’t remember if this was the day he pitched because we were the entire series but I remember Hendricks pitching and a “FUCKING GOD DAMNIT” after a fastball strikeout lmao. (One of the coaches popped their head out of the dugout) “Can you guys hear that?” My dad, a high school baseball coach wasn’t going to answer that. “All I heard was filthy gas.” I didn’t say a word. But our religious friend wasn’t too happy. I kind of like that Liam is passionate, it’s sooooo rare to find in the MLB a closer who wears it all on his sleeve like that. So many try to be stoic, but he’s a fireball who also isn’t an asshole. Basically, all the positives of John Rocker, without the negatives. Wish he was on the Cardinals.
Chase the two which means whatever pitch the catcher calls after he puts down the two. And if he shakes, then put down the same pitch that he just shook.
Corporate: “let’s mic up a pitcher and see if he can talk with us, while he’s trying not to loose his job. That’ll be such a good idea!!! I’m sure nothing will go wrong. It’s not like it’s a World Series game. It’s for the fans.” The pitcher:
"You're mic'd up." "No it's not working, haven't heard a thing." Oh how wrong he was.
he didnt hear anything....so he wasnt wrong....
So wrong
He was talking about hearing the broadcast, which he was right about.
MLB fans want more of this
Fr 😂😂👏🏻
FORRR REALLLLL 😤
Like terry Collins? MLB wants everything g rated and tries to hide those clips.

Astros fans especially.
This is what Fox gets for mic'ing up athletes who are trying to compete
It was entertaining to me honestly. Glad they did.
It’s the All Star Game. It’s supposed to be more entertaining than competitive. That being said, this was entertaining
Seriously. I hope they say words like cunt and cocksucker next time
haha you don’t got to swear to compete lol God bless
@@ChiTownWarrior1 it was indeed God bless

Im a white sox fan and I know lol you can still hear it on a game in chicago
Balfour too. Miss both those guys :/
man I miss liam on the A’s
As a Sox fan, it doesn’t surprise me. Glad to have him on the team.
He should've been all star MVP for this
Who got it
@@starfighter1043 Probably Vlad Jr
I'm sayin ohtani bout to look at the game
@@lukea2902 yep he did n made history too 🤯 dudes a beast 💪
@@starfighter1043 Yeah he is, he's all ready an All Star
You can hear him cursing almost every other game, and than they go ahead and put a mic on him lol. What did they think was gonna happen?
They think it'll get plenty of youtube hits and get more fan interest for the game.
Catcher: your micd up.
Liam: ya I know I said damn it instead.
It would be funny if he knew it was actually working but he just didn’t care.
To be honest, I thought he was pretending it didn’t work so he can pitch. Guess not.
I like his gentle mix of American and Australian accents
We need more of this, if baseball ever wants to be relevant again pls give us more insights like this
You guys are really clinging on to the "baseball is dying" narrative by the fingertips. Shits weird lol 😂
Liam sounds American as hell when he cusses
I didn’t even know he was Australian until the game ended and he started talking normally
"Nah, it's not workin" ohhh boy!!! 😂😂😂
What a gamer! Prayers to you Liam.
I want to have a first baseman mic’d up and here the conversation that goes on over there
Freddie Freeman was mic'd up and he had a convo with Aaron Judge at first.
They did that earlier in the game.
@@donrowley100 yeah I think I remember Rhys Hoskins was mic’d for one game too. Kinda forgot for a minute there
The mic was working not the earpiece! 🤣🤣🤣
“Goddamn fuck fish”
Let's mic up the dude who cusses like a sailor in one of the most tense moments of his career - Fox
The all star game is not a tense moment
"one of the most tense moments of his career" LOL found the fake baseball fan
Tense moment. Wtf🤣🤣🤣
More of this please MLB. Realness.

I'm convinced he knew what he was doing, and loving it. Just because I think it looks like he's holding back a grin as he talks to the catcher
I yell like that too when my beer foams up
Nothing better then an Australian making mistakes
Caused by Americans.
He's just expressing himself😭
They need to keep this because this feels more authentic then guess what the players are saying and doing

Basically me playing mlb the show
NHL for me. Alternating between god damn it and for fuck’s sake every play, my friends think I’m a moron

They should cast Liam in a Scorcesse film
I can only imagine if Liam said like really bad things about the White Sox and was like “Yeah I want a trade out of Chicago” 😂
😂😂😂😂😂 No way
MLB The Show 21 is now no longer rated E for Everyone
causes! not everyone cuses!
I heard this live
LOL 😂😂😂
Looooool
Why?
Chase 2 shake the same?
Closers are like special teams players in the NFL and goalies in the NHL; a special breed not fit for all 😂
You're a bad man Sean. 👿
i mean this could've been shown on national tv, liam almost got in big trouble by Fox
It was shown on national TV. This happens all the time in sports.
Fox is National TV
