This is actually one of the things I miss about going to music stores growing up and doing that with CDs. Just spending a couple (Sometimes a few) hours in there flipping through albums and picking out what looks good. There's a lot of crap I had to wade through, but there's some real gems I'd come across this way as well, that I'd never have come across otherwise. Now they're all closing down. Don't get me wrong, buying music on iTunes and such is conveinent and their library considerably vast... but if I don't know what I'm looking for, how can I type it in to search?
I just moved to Minneapolis and there are SO many record stores here. I've accidentally stumbled across 5, and there's tons more I haven't visited yet.

Damn... that sounds pretty cool. In Columbus where I'm from, the only places really, are Used Kids on campus which i used albums, and Magnolia Thunderpussy... which I think I heard was being torn down soon, I'm not sure.
This would be a paradise for me. Looking so many jewels records of rock n roll. And looking a legend like Davey check-in on them..
