    I think people can separate the music from the people. I can disagree with Jesse Hughes' politics and still love his music. If you only listen to artist who agree with your political views, you constrict yourself to a relatively small bubble in the wider landscape of music. Also, even some of the most well respected artist have flaws. John Lennon allegedly abused his first wife, Wagner was an antisemite, and Noel Gallagher said he hoped Damon Albarn got AIDs.

      Do they express the same Ideology, son and dad? I don't really know. But most of the Hollywood types are left leaning progressives, ie. socialist, globalists who are all for inviting everyone into our country, but not in their houses! Just asking! Oh, and I have started Boycotting Anti-American, Left-Leaning 'Movie Stars' in my entertainment $$$ selections from now on!

      Jim Knopf Yes but films, especially documentaries, go deeper into what happened and the mindset of the people involved. Documentaries hardly garner a ton of profit anyways. It's fine.

    • @brianbitner
      @brianbitner 7 лет назад +6

      Yeah, because documentaries are where the money's at. Moreover, why on earth would you think Colin Hanks, who is one, a friend of the band, and two, has Tom Hanks for a dad, would do a project like this for money?

    • @ghjhty7
      @ghjhty7 7 лет назад

      Jim Knopf There is that side of it that i wholly understand but i doubt that its gonna go the whole run time without giving the audience at least 20 minutes of attention. I understand part of your perspective but your knowledge on the industry seems limited.

    wow, was "radical islam" or "islamism" or "violent jihad" ever even mentioned here when describing the terrorist attacks that night? Why are we so afraid to specify the nature of these attacks?

    • @jacksonpage1580
      @jacksonpage1580 7 лет назад +17

      It would also be "unnecessary." The motivation behind the attacks is irrelevant to the context and intent of this interview. Also, relating attacks like these directly to Islamism is generalizing a religion into a single interpretation/lifestyle that a large majority of those who call themselves Muslims don't follow.
