    Impressive extract timing ! I started this game using the ammo backpack, then abandonned it for meta gameplay. Now i'm looking for new ways to play HD2. I will definitly try this loadout ! Thanks for the Managed Democracy !

      Thank you! I feel like the map layouts are better now after patch 01.000.300, making extraction times a bit more reasonable also. The extra patrols make solo runs even more action packed, so definitely alot of fun as well. I hope you enjoy whatever ways you try, make sure you have fun since that's what matters!

    Oh heck yes, what an awesome idea for a video! I never would have imagined you could make a run without a support weapon work... not even taking the Arc Thrower the game gave you as a freebie, now that's dedication.
    Another tip for the Upload Data objective: stepping out of range causes your progress to backslide, but it doesn't instantly cancel it. It can help when you're under pressure to not feel like you'll lose all your progress if your connection drops for a second. (Also saves you a few seconds to be already heading for the perimeter as the upload finishes.)
    Also I'm pretty sure that turrets do have a hard time limit roughly equal to their (unmodified by ship modules?) cooldown timer. I experimented with this while doing a D1 mission, and definitely noticed turrets retracting right as their cooldown timer expired, despite not being firing at anything.

      Are you sure? I once ran a (relatively meme) build with all sentries, and it did feel like they were up forever. I'm definitely not sure though so I will apologize for the incorrect information in that case. I know for certain you can have multiple HMG emplacements though (having run back and forth between them). Will test more thoroughly. Thank you for the critical perspective! Helps me learn also.

      @@PhacilGaming I _just_ tested the sentry thing right now to make absolutely sure. I wouldn't want to feed you bad information! I did a D1 map, landed on the edge and called down a Machine Gun, Gatling, Mortar and Autocannon sentry. All four lasted maybe 30 seconds longer than their cooldown timer, then retreated into their pods without having fired a single shot.
      I'm willing to bet the difference between the cooldown timer expiring and the sentries retreating on their own is due to the ship module that decreases sentry cooldown times by 10%. I'll have to try timing them to see if it's exactly 3 minutes before a sentry automatically retreats sometime.
      Not sure about the HMG Emplacement! Maybe that one doesn't have any automatic retreat timer? I know that Supplies don't despawn, so I always like to try to route past the Extraction Point halfway through the mission, so I can drop off the samples I have and drop some Supplies on it for later.

      ​​@@temtempo13HMG Emplacement doesn't have a time limit. HMG Emplacement also doesn't retreat/expire like sentry when you summon another one.
      You can keep Summoning multiple HMG Emplacement for your team to create 4-man chokepoint if you wanted.
      Or realistically, just summon one next to the other in base defense mission so you can use the other one when the first one runs out of ammo.

    great new channel I've discovered here, love the positivity and focus on improvement. Here's my helpful tip for ya, the grenade pistol is great against the Walkers, aiming high on the front usually takes em down in one shot and is always a great option if your primary is lackluster against them.

    Impressive to see just how much endurance the supply pack grants you: wading through gunship fire for so long is quite the testament.
    Start: 6:06 (in-game 34:12)
    Mid: 7:22 (in-game 32:05)
    End: 13:45 (last interaction with a gunship, in-game 25:15)
    Huh - after looking over the timestamps, I guess the quick clear was key. And to that end, that HB placement was vital, since every minute is another gunship you can't take out.

      Exactly! It's ridiculously underestimated in my opinion, you could argue the Shield Generator pack prevents you needing all those stims but the Genpack doesn't give you nades. Nor does it make you versatile and capable of assisting your teammates.
      Yeah for sure, taking out fabricators (and nests for that matter) is always a huge deal. Specially since this last patch they buffed patrol spawns. Often you're busy enough just fighting patrols and dropships, so the fabricators will decimate you. Thank you for taking the time to comment!

      @@PhacilGaming Everybody is using scorcher so your Diligence is fresh wind :) But If we viewers could propose loadout for you to try, I would suggest mine: JAR/Senator/Stun nades, light armor of your choosing(wing trailblazer scout;) and for stratagems: Jet pack/EagleAirstrike/380mm barrage(if 4th slot available autocannon sentry) no need for video, just fun and destructive loadout

      ​@@PhacilGaming yeah, +1 to the dominator recommendation. Fun, engaging weapon with great utility and a satisfying skill curve. Once you get used to the travel time, it's a sniper. The downside is that the damn thing handles like a boat lol.

      Alright will definitely get a run in haha, I've used it before and I think it's a great gun. I agree on the handling though, that threw me off quite a bit. More like a cruiseship haha. I like Vladimir's setup though, not a loadout I'd normally run so should be fun to experiment with!

    I love your presentation style! Have you noticed the patrol increases jave made solo play much harder? It seems like even on lower difficulty, I'm getting swarmed constantly.

      Thanks alot for the compliment! Yeah I have, it's awesome really. Alot more action, I do think it's not as tough as it may look though. It's kind of subtle it seems, it feels if you just fight the patrols and such then at some point they stop coming for quite some time. So the patrols are spawning alot faster which makes each fight alot harder, but then it like 'caps' or something and you get a breathing window. Not sure yet, but so far it's an enjoyable change. Difficulty definitely spiked with it, so agreed!

      I tried that once and it didn't seem to work. According to Reddit, sometimes the doors look open when they're not though so maybe that's what happened. I'll try it again, thank you!
