Sadly Sachin never scored a test ton in West Indies against Ambrose/Walsh (probably the only flaw in his record alongside no triple century). However, making 179 against Walsh (Ambrose never played in India) even in the subcontinent would have been very difficult so this redeems the flaw somewhat.
I think he only got to play 1 test series against Ambrose and that was the one in WI in 97. He was unlucky not to get a century there as there was a lot of play lost to rain and he got 2 80s and a 90. He was run out on 88 and gave his wicket away off a massive no ball (which was missed by the umpire) on 92.
@@atuls55 true. It also seems really sad that somehow brian lara only played one test series in india and wasim akram and sachin only played 2 test series against each other. We missed out on many battles between the greats...
