- What would your life look like without social media? Do you ever wonder? I do. A lot.
This is a reflection of how Social Media has shaped and influenced me and my life, especially in my younger years. (Please also read the pinned comment) 💕

Although I often wonder “what if”, I am grateful for the lessons I’ve learned; the power social media holds, the importance to use it mindfully and to create with intention. This video reflects my journey with social media, particularly during my younger years, and how it shaped and influenced me. I wanted to touch especially on the questions „Why do I share what I share?“ and „What would life look like, where would I be, if I spent all this time and energy somewhere else?“
While I focus on the challenges, I also want to acknowledge that I have always loved the creative expression and community that this online world holds. My past has shown me what’s the right way to offer my creations to the world. I aspire to make videos with meaning, purpose and with my viewers highest good in my mind. Creation is such a huge passion and part of me. 🦋 So thank you for being part of this journey with me. 💕

I'm addicted to my phone especially social media. I hate it too. I have a 10 month old and I'm conscious im cataloguing her life through taking photos rather than collecting real memories and appreciating her in the moment. It's easier to admire her through the screen instead of seeing her for how she exists beside me...

The subtle irony is how you still had to film it in order to create it, but I think that only adds to it.

@@AlexMachin-Chose That was something I was worried about, how it will be perceived - my filming to make this video! ☺️ For me the struggle was never really about creating content and sharing but about the strong need and urgency to share to impress or be seen and validated by others. Nowadays I create out of the pure joy for creating, with the intention to serve humanity in any way that I can. Perhaps I could have brought that across better 💕 Thank you for your words 🦋

I'm glad it's giving you more fulfillment to create in this way, and it's very inspirational.
Also I take it English is maybe not your native language, as you seem to have an accent, but all of your narration is truly perfect and without mistakes. Well done.

I think„what if“ is a pointless question, as the past is behind us, it’s a part of who we are now, but pointless to question it.
We did what we did, and in hindsight we are so much smarter. Experience is something we have often a minute after we would have needed it. Knowledge of an older self is quite similar. As long as your decisions where not made to intentionally harm others, as long as they were made to progress in any way, no matter how stupid it looks from the wisdom of the experience we now have, we should be gentle with ourselves.
