Lol, the rise of hardtag Zero is coming. I just dropped the team clock for Zero/Strider/Vergil God, was it ever the best decision I made. Hiryu TOD's and the team order doesn't matter. They are all killing you now. If Zero had a beam assist, Doom would be practically an obsolete choice
Nice, that's a really good team. I didn't know Strider could tag to Zero, that's dope, makes sense tho. Yea if Zero had a beam assist he would be SSS+ tier. Sougenmu hadangeki assist is pretty decent for neutral at least.
@@datHazy Yeah, definitely reached the fuck Doom train. I kept running theory in my head on who could play in his place with Vergil/Strider and Zero was about the only real effective option because he actually turns Hiryu into a Touch of Death machine with incredible hardtags and allows him to go second on a team, and Zero/Strider is really good neutral wise, it's worse than Jam initially on the point Zero aspect, but I am a firm believer that Vergil/Strider is a better end game at two bars Hiryu is killing no X as Vergil is a fantastic damage engine with sword loops, and as it is one of if not the best Xf2 duos in the game, either one of them is getting Xf3 if the other is killed or on any hit Hiryu can Xf2 hardtag Vergil in for the classic Shady K concept giving Vergil Meter X and Vajra, it's pure evil. If they snap the Vergil, we both know he can hard tag back for free, and if he does die that's still nonsense to deal with if Hiryu hits he hardtags Zero, and if he dies, well, you have I Still Need a Zero video, lol.
This team has extremely grimy mixups tbh, with magneto point not so much, all you really get is a meaty with magneto + rapid slash assist into high/low/throw. But with Zero you can get unpushblockable meaties into sequences that lead to unblockables depending on the opponents pushblock timing to keep themselves in the air. If you don't get unblockabled, you have to hold at least 2 50/50s. Even if magneto happens to be point at the time, he can set up these mixups by hardtagging to Zero during the combo as shown in the vid, DHCing to lightning loops, or DHCing to sougenmu after one of his supers kill for a frame kill meaty setup.

Amazing stuff, but in a real high level match this team don't have a true mixup hard to block
