      Yup, the esound of the eu id4 is nothing like the USA variant. The sound output is low. Much lower then a kona for example

    I wish mine in the USA was that low. Here ours is very, very loud. My family can hear it in the garage when I get home (while still on the street).

      Is there a rule in USA that e cars have to be that loud or what? I remember the times when you couldn’t hear them at all.

      @@r-jthecookie3126 Almost seems like it is more extreme in the USA, from what I have seen.
      They made them louder / more obnoxious than ICE cars, because it is all fueled by an unhealthy psychology that through its actions instills the same mindset in others.
      A society getting dumber is also becoming more tragicomical.

    Hello ID.Furkan. A question. Can you turn off your low beam headlights at night and drive just with the parking lights or no lights at all? Maybe this is a strange question. But I live on an island and rely on car ferry service. The ferries expect you to enter and exit the ferries and ferry terminals with lights off, so you don't blind the crew with your bright lights. In my U.S. ID.4 version (Pro S gradient), the headlights automatically turn themselves back after a short time after you turn them off.

    One great feature of electric cars is the removal of noise pollution. And here we are putting it right back again. I will NEVER buy this unless it can be turned off.

      Europe has legislation that every car since 2020-6 must have Esound which you can’t disable with a button

      on some models you can tempoprarily disable it (i'm looking at you, Nissan Leaf, Kia eNiro and others...), but you should never actually do it unless there's noone around.

    Hello. I have also ID.4. Do You know how to disable this warning sound? It gives me a headache. Thank you!

    • @rylans.5365
      @rylans.5365 Год назад +1

      You should not disable it. The sound is not meant for you the driver to acknowledge. It is integrated by law for pedestrians and the visually impaired to sense the presence of a vehicle. You can theoretically remove or disconnect the sound, but it would be illegal, dangerous, and may affect warranty.

    • @silversilv6630

      @@rylans.5365 I agree with you. But all my neighbors know when I come home. The car is humming. I thought that it is possible to make this sound quieter.

      @@silversilv6630 It is the disturbed mentality of the agenda pushers expressed in their actions, attempting to drive the masses neurotic and distressed, too. Psychoacoustics is not a new field, and they must be knowing those sounds are annoying as hell. It is probably intentional.
      And as people get even dumber and less attentive without the root problem not addressed, those sounds would have to get even more annoying.
