It's nice to see the old machine in action. It was state of the art in it's day. I still have my first detector that I bought in 1978. It's a Garrett Coin Shooter. I haven't used it for over 25 years.
Thanks for the videos Big Guy. My L4 and L3 in my back is out and I'm not able to get out and run my detectors but enjoying seeing your vids and what you are finding. A big thanks from Mike in South Vienna Ohio.
Very cool. I still have a Garrett GTAx400 that I started out with. Doesn't even have a pinpoint function but that actually helped me learn to focus on targets in the beginning. I dug an 1827 US large cent in my first couple of weeks metal detecting with that unit.
@@WeirdGuyInPark just got back. Found a sterling silver Figaro bracelet, gold filled necklace, Rose gold Pandora ring, 1944 P war nickel some other bling, clad and garbage. Yesterday I found a 1942 Mercury dime in my front yard 😁
That was fun!!
Gotta love that ole Garrett tone💚✌️
It’s so much fun taking old machines out for a spin. Don’t hesitate to do more videos of classics.
I almost bought this detector when I got into the hobby. Hey old tech still works good.. Thanks for taking us along .. Happy Hunting. Peace
Thanks Danny..
