I believe its more than that. Riki is also stating that he agrees with dad and thanking him for stepping in and being a good leader.❤
Later, Toto and Sumomo stay near him to ask to step in again.
I believe that Ko is being more assertive cuz she wants to be closer to Su and Toto. She has tried to be kinder, and that didn't work. So, she is alittle upset. Plus, she is feeling better since being sick.❤

None of the kids have learned that Sumomo doesn’t like to be manhandled, that’s why she likes Toto so much, she doesn’t do that, let’s her do what she pleases and if she needs her she’s there.
