UN Ocha humanitarian coordinator Yasmina Guerda explained the traumas of Palestinian civilians in Gaza during an emotional testimony on Tuesday. Guerda highlighted the dire consequences of Israel's military assault in the Strip, emphasising the widespread trauma and devastation faced by Palestinian civilians in Gaza.

They are doctors, journalists, teachers, lawyers, farmers, cooks, healers, carers, artists, writers, builders, fishermen, shepherds, poets, students, shopkeepers. Anything and everything that human beings can be.
Words seem inadequate in the face of the enormity of the unearthly crimes being committed against them. The world is bearing witness to it and the heartbroken millions of us round the world unable to stop what is being done hold great love and respect for the Palestinian people and their resilience and courage in the face of such criminal insanity.
