Mario is fearless: nothing fazes him. Lava, ghosts, bottomless pits, not even King Bowser himself. Luigi is Brave: he's *very* afraid, but overcomes that continues on anyway because he knows his brother might need backup. so while he's seen as the "weaker" brother, in many ways, he's just as strong.
Legitimately one of the best Mario shorts I've seen ever. It gives Mario character and an arc. He realises what he has in the end, and shows his appreciation for his little brother.
At first when I saw Mario disrespecting Luigi, even though he helped him, made me think about why he doesn't deserve everything alone, but then when he relized what Luigi had done for him, he respected him and let Peach give him a little gift as well
I'm a luigi fan and I realized luigi was always good to his brother but mario was the opposite of luigi. In the end mario understands it and rare the part of the kiss 😐

And after rescuing Mario, the reason he went on vacation without luigi was because he either wanted to have a romantic trip with peach alone or maybe he left luigi in charge to protect the mushroom kingdom because he’s brave enough after facing his fears to rescue his bro through a haunted mansion.
Really epic, loved every bit of it. Bros helping each other and beating bowser as a team. I liked the happy ending with both bros having the moment of glory after saving the princess.

My favourite bit was when Luigi felt bad for Yoshi, so he gave him a berry, but then the door closed. Edit: Actually it was when mario dropped the apples and had en emotional flashback to when Luigi gave him the berries right in the middle of fighting that stoopid dragon!

@@IvanFranco120 I remember the original concept for Super Mario 64 was going to be a co-op game, Player 1 is Mario, Player 2 is Luigi.But sadly, they couldn't get it to work properly, and as such, it was a Mario only game. Which makes sense since the end of the SNES had "Mario is Missing". Mario 64 DS though made some marked improvements.
This sums up co-op really well. 2 players is good and you both can throw each other go in bubble and more. BUT if you have 3 or 4 players it’s a battle for 1-ups it’s chaos and you keep killing each other too much. You steal power ups even when you already have one and you get mad. That’s the whole story
