You said we don't write test cases for sanity , but when you run Testplan , usually its sanity testing , plz explain more regarding sanity and smoke y we don't write test cases on these

How could you say that we dont write test cases for retesting..I think we do update that on current test cases..I think
If we face a bug when we run a test case then we report to the dev team. Once they fix it we do retesting. So while doing retesting we execute the existing test cases.
