    Maybe discharging the capacitor should be the first thing.

      Actually I am not a teacher by profession but I'm passionate about helping people understand electronics so that they can independently overcome any challenge they might come across while using electronics.

    question so at 3:06 on my microwave one terminal was melted. I replace it.
    i dont understand why that happened.
    Do you have any suggestions on what to check? All fuses are good but i get a PF error code

      Most likely excessive heat

      @@humblynn thats was my thoughts but the temp fuse is still showing continuity and it only happened for that one terminal now that i replace its just showing a PF error.

      @@1DumbSquirrel thats power failure alarm. check the fuses and if possible you should the former thermal fuse to see if the error clears. whats the name of your microwave?

      You might need to replace the microwave

      It could be a blown fuse or some other things
