@@jyotirajsingh1476 I don't think so because by taking lower nit which equal or worst in terms of placements and the very first batch of smart manufacturing will be placed next year soo after 4 years their certain alumni not that good but their is, although in iiitdm K smart manufacturing avg. Placement is Approx 11 lpa which is even better than Mech. and close to ECE. And IIIT Jabalpur is better than IIITDM K soo I guess the placements where very good and in smart manufacturing their arecomputer courses of AI good amount of language learning programs so student can be placed in the IT sector also. You can check in details with other nits at this rank...
to be frank I would suggest you to join any other NIT (any branch)instead of joining iiit Jabalpur SM branch because the average package for triple IT DM Jabalpur is expected to be around 5 to 6 lak for smart manufacturing IT company do not allow us to sit in their placement and very less of you core companies come for their placement round.. being a student myself at triple IT Jabalpur(which I highly regret )I would suggest you to be at any other NIT
Also dude branch change was not that easy (it also depends on the vacancy of seat in cse branch if there are no seat vacant you will not get a chance to change your branch)... ..I would advice you to take any other nit even at low branch but if you are not getting any nit the welcome to iiit ....hope to meet you
Yes surely, mechanical placements are also growing at a great pace, faculty and all the labs are very well maintained with high tech apparatus and machines...
