  • I recently listened to LL Cool J's new track "Saturday Night Special," and I was quite surprised by its style. Having always thought of LL Cool J as more of a singer, I didn't expect the song to be pure rap. The inclusion of rap heavyweights Rick Ross and Fat Joe, who both deliver fantastic verses, adds a rich layer of depth to the track. Their contributions elevate the song, making it a memorable piece. It's clear that LL Cool J is not confined to a single genre and continues to innovate within the music industry. This track showcases his versatility and his ability to collaborate effectively with other top artists in the rap scene.
I do own this song.. i am simply reacting and giving my opinion.
This song is own by LL Cool J under LL Cool J, Inc

Q-tip legendary hip artist and producer. Qtip is father to many producers style, including ye. You’ll see when you get to tribe called quest music. This album has super high potential if qtip did all the production. LL also was pioneer for his time by being solo act. He def made records ladies enjoy, setting foundation for artists like jayz, drake, 50, etc. And here he is in 2024 making 🔥!!! Peace.

LL is where get “goat” from. He always could rap rap, “battle anybody I don’t care who you tell” is all time great line and it’s his. But he also made hits hits. Yes, 2 hits cause they are like that. Classic hip hop songs that are always going to slap.
Loungin, doing it, I’m bad, mama said knock you out, rock the bells, jingling baby, 4321, I shot ya, I need a beat, pink cookies in a plastic bag, etc just some.

Ll is mid 80s. He is before rakim and definitely was a rapper lol. It’s funny to see what youth think about older artists in relation to where they started. It’s evidence of why it’s important to do the knowledge. Ll might be the first true megastar in hip hop.
