Canada,UK,Australia, Germany, are the only countries with energy limitations on Air Rifles. HW80 has a factory spec of 30 Joules of energy which is due to spring length. You can fit a factory spec spring, to restore power and get a licence.
@@6lr6ak6 I’ve got a really old one 1981 I’m restoring and that’s the kind numbers I’m hoping for.. the older ones like mine had a bigger outer diameter spring made from thicker wire I’ve just got the spring today and I’m waiting on new seals so I can rebuild it 🤞for 20ftlbs
@@pauldodds8312 mines a 89 gun, l got a CS500 Walnut stock for it, can still buy the wider springs with thicker wire, the trigger block was threaded so it has a screw in spring guide like the Venom did, steel piston sleeve removed and delrin one made to fit, no twang at all, only use FTTs there the best in older barrels, l have a Hawke sidewinder 30ffp 4-16x50 on it, have a 97 tuned with the same scope and stock as on the 80, that's 17ft/lb.
The 80s are a brill gun, mines a 89 year of manufacture, when l got mine l don't think it'd even been apart, the spring was shot, still had normal grease, stripped it, de greased, new spring, seal, piston sleeve moly grease, chronograph it at my mates his 95 was touch under 12ft/lb my 80 is 20 using field target trophy.
This is ridiculous, 150m/sec? Why the hell do yo need a HW80 when all the rifles in your country are limited to 7,5 joule? I got an HW80 in .22 with Macari kit and Tarantula XL spring. It goes 223m/sec with JSB Exact diabolo 5,53mm 1,03gr. Not much harder then a stock HW80 , but it shoots much better. My HW97k in .177 is also tuned and shoots even beter at 273m/sec with JSB Exact diabolo. If your country only allows a max of 7,5 joules, I would get a Diana 240 Classic or HW30s. Not an airrifle that has a weight of 4kg and shoots only as fast as Diana 240 Classic. I live in Belgium and there is no limit on the power of air rifles. And yes I have a firearms certificate or licence, but that's for my firearms and that's not necessary for air rifles like in the UK above 12ftp or 16 joules.
Coz of quallity ;) Especially who like to collect airguns( same like other thinghs )...know what a privilegy is to have that rifle in the collection, no metres vellocity limited ;)

My Lazerized HW80 goes 850 fps with H&N .22 Silver Points. I've never regretted buying it even though it was a lot of money.
yes i love mine too ..

with 7 Joule limit you could as well spit at your target - this rifle has been designed for FAC not some silly limitations:)
Awesome rifle ,perfect gun for inside, and out .☝️❤
Sure 😁
I guess they have too limit power there? My Diana 350 magnum in .22 in 14.66gr shoots around 850 fps.
Mine is a 22 and averages 790 fps, there a great gun.
What weight pellet are you using?

I have a beeman R1 .177 but the same rifle just a different caliber a lot of fun what do you shoot at do you shoot jsb or h&n pellets
This is serious business thanks guy
Thats strange: the Plastic front tunnel! Original Weihrauch has metal ones!

It is not true that the HW 80 tunnel is made of plastic, its are metal.
Pal shoot your hw 30 ,I am looking to buy one ,again good review, awesome rifle Thankyou..😎
Thank you 😁
Very slow for magnum mine RWS DIANA 350MAGNUM 22.CAL does 845-870 fps with 14.3 pellets
😁
My RWS 48 would smoke your 350 magnum!
@@elevatedcatapults4044 the diana 350 magnum is far too long and unwieldy a rifle to hit anything with.
Ditched my n tec 350 mag. Inaccurate. Got a hw 95 , just great. Highly recommend it.
But you can't hit anything with the Diana. It's not suitable for heavy bullets either, and it's far too long and unwieldy.

How fast ?
HW80 or other Weihrauch airguns don't have plastic front sights, they are made from metal. Plastic is very bad choice for this things...
HW must be very good airgun but not available in Thailand. Envy you.
Sorry ....
