Vrapceto (Bulgaria)

Vrapceto is one of the most popular Bulgarian folk dances... and for good reason as it's danced to a lovely "tick-tock" tune, moves in 3 different directions (not simultaneously), and has a single definitive foot stamp to mark the end of each series of steps.

Thank you so much for posting this! I've had the music transcription for years but never heard the very beautiful singing and now I see the dance! I'd love to know what they are singing (translation). What region of Bulgaria?
