Investors are watching closely as the debate on Wall Street - as to when and if the Fed will cut interest rates in early 2024 - has dominated most conversations. The policy decision can also have impacts that ripple through the economy.
Yahoo Finance Fed Reporter Jennifer Schonberger joins the Live show to discuss the top questions on the minds of investors ahead of the Fed's next big monetary policy move.

I was advised to diversify my portfolio among several assets such as stocks and bonds since this can protect my portfolio for retirement. I'm seeking to invest $200K across markets but don't know where to start.

It's really hard to beat the market as a mere investor. It's just better if you invest with the help of a professional understands the market dynamics better.

I agree, having a brokerage advisor for investing is genius! Amidst the financial crisis in 2008, I was really having investing nightmare prior touching base with a advisor. In a nutshell, i've accrued over $2m with the help of my advisor from an initial $350k investment.

Leila Simoes Pinto' is the licensed coach I use. Just research the name. You'd find necessary details to work with a correspondence to set up an appointment.

      No change
It won't happen until later after June and they think 3-4 cuts ..
They may not do it until 2025 but probably after June. I saw this moths ago and so moved some cash into a money market fun at 5.45 % and wait it out
Puzzled why everyone is surprised. I follow good analysis I guess lol because I knew it

Expanding war is the endgame, it is also the key to the new system.
From a stock market standpoint, every manner of anything you can think about will be implemented to keep it propped up. The mechanism of war alone generates the greatest need for more borrowed dollars to be pulled into the system, which is MASSIVELY inflationary-it is also stock market positive. This mechanism will drive cash into the perceived safety of debt and keep rates suppressed. Keeping rates suppressed opens a doorway for cash to flow into risk assets/the stock market.

Jay Powell needs to send a better message. Unless he is trying to help Trump. Cut rates; at least send a clear message; and at least a quarter point. Come on dude.
