    The video is fully indexed. Every question is clearly marked and has a timestamp.
    00:29 Q1. Did God create life?
    01:03 Q2. Is the ability to desire (iccha shakti) God-given? Or is it an inherent quality of the living entity?
    01:46 Q3. Did the living entity desire to come into this world or did God forcefully bring the living entity into this world?
    03:13 Q4. How significant is the ability to desire?
    04:33 Q5. Why would God put the living entities into a world filled with misery & suffering, against their will?
    05:48 Q6. We see that many living entities suffer starting from birth itself. Why?
    06:31 Q7. Is the living entity capable of choosing between good & bad?
    07:42 Q8. Does God inspire a living entity's actions?
    08:55 Q9. Does God force His will upon the living beings?
    11:04 Q10. Often we see that our will to do bad deeds is higher. Why?
    13:02 Q11. Can a living entity refuse God's will?
    14:10 Q12. If the Lord doesn't inspire bad actions in the living entity, who else does?
    16:46 Q13. Can the living entity override God's will?
    17:38 Q14. How to know God's will (or prerane) from our own (desires)?
    18:23 Q15. If the living entity has free will, how can an astrologer predict the entity's fate? Isn't astrology a farce?
    21:14 Q16. What is jeeva kartrutva (or doership)?
    22:38 Q17. Can we declare that the Lord is the one & only independent doer?
    24:19 Q18. Does God influence a living entity's good or bad choices?
    26:21 Q19. If God inspires bad actions in the living entity, why doesn't He suffer the consequences?
    28:15 Q20. Let's say I did a good deed today. Were desire, motivation & effort involved my own or God-given?
    29:12 Q21. Does the living entity have the independence to act on his own?
    30:28 Q22. What is asvatantra kartrutva (dependent doership)?
    31:56 Q23. What is the difference between kartrutva (doership) and svatantra (independence)?
    33:03 Q24. What is datta svatantra (authorized independence)?
    34:04 Q25. If everything is in God's hands, what is the living entity's role then?
    37:41 Q26. When the Lord already knows the nature or svabhava of the living entity, why subject them to the miseries of this world to expose their true nature? He could directly send the living entities to their intended destination of heaven or hell. Right?

    In Protestantism and Islam, there is the concept of pre-destination. That is, the God has already decided what each creature should do, whether a creature eventually goes to heaven or hell. In those sects, there is no concept of Moksha. It seems that in Dwaita Vedanta, to a limited extent, predestination applies. The apparent difference is that man is free not to do an evil act. That he commits such acts his doership. But I recall reading that Madhav classifies some creatures as permanently destined to hell? Probably, Tattvasankhyana itself states this permanent hell for some creatures. Can this be explained please?

      @VedicDiscourses  5 лет назад

      Interesting points. The concept of predestination / fate does deserve a video of its own. In this video, it's touched upon briefly with a question on free-will. We will go into this in depth in a separate video on Jeeva Traividya to do justice to the subject. Currently, assimilating questions on Jeeva Traividya & a part 2 of this video (Asvatantra Kartrutva).

    With all due respect, It would have been nice if the examples he gives are from vedas or shashtras or puranas instead of lowkika examples which raises lots of logcal/illogical questions and sometimes less relevant.

    Pranams. How come all your videos begin with obnoxious advertisements, particularly of non vegetarian food items. This is a deliberate attempt at stopping the video from being watched or disturb the mental frame of your viewers. Request you speak with you Tube

    • @VedicDiscourses
      @VedicDiscourses  6 месяцев назад

      Namaste. We have absolutely no control over what RUclips ads will show up. Actually, we have deliberately not monetized any of our videos - meaning that we have held our preference with RUclips to not have any ads. But, ultimately it's RUclips that decides on it - whether to show ads and what kind of ads to show. Currently, the only solution to stay ad-free is to buy RUclips Premium.

    26:21 in this question, answer is not satisfactory. God is basically expressing our personality. It may have all kinds of activities. God will make sure all those are expressed as it is. Why will God gets affected by those actions?

    • @VedicDiscourses
      @VedicDiscourses  4 года назад

      As you rightly said, Acharya too concludes that God isn't affected by reactions while expressing the jeevas' personalities as the supreme independent.

    Can he not ever answer one single question without using analogy from real life systems? Why is everything in god's world based on man-made systems?

    • @VedicDiscourses
      @VedicDiscourses  21 день назад

      I think I answered this in one of the other videos. Analogies are meant for better understanding of the subject matter. Analogies are not proofs. Rather analogies drive home the proofs. For proofs, a deeper study is what's required where the subject matter is dealt with in depth. Not sure what you mean by "using analogy from real life systems" and "man-made systems".

    Question 3 not convinced. The fact is ours is a forced birth without any control on the soul's part. Especially the dvaita idea of some souls being doomed to hell for eternity. Where is the evolution angle for a soul then? Also unless a criminal knows what he is paying (living in this hell) for, how will the penance happen? This is then a dictator-like setup, just believe you sinned in some previous births, no we won't tell you how-what-why, just come, suffer, die, repeat till infinity/mahapralaya. Something is broken in the system. Bhakti and belief notwithstanding. Don't want to offend anyone, but just sharing thoughts.

      Hi, I think your question is about svabhava and Jeeva’s path being a resultant force of multiple factors which is addressed in the following lecture with an example : ruclips.net/video/Q9x2BYDX7DU/видео.html
      Hope it might help
      Thank you

    • @sameerkulkarni8325
      @sameerkulkarni8325 21 день назад

      Exactly. These are not justifications in any sense. Every answer is by drawing analogy to a man-made system. But then why only choose these analogies and not the other ones? All of his thoughts are similar to Abrahamic beliefs, but of course they don't admit it, because we speak of moksha and not swarga, but the mechanism and the ideas are all the same.
