It’s not unwatchable the problem is the coaching and poorly developed players that part guards on our team and I think that they’re not playing along with Kaitlyn Clark and I don’t think that the league is addressed. I think commissioner of the WNBA needs to step in and have a meeting with those players because the coach can’t get them under control, I don’t think the coach is jealous of Kaitlyn. I think she’s underqualified and they have a great opportunity to get our head coach and put her on that road so she can get those players under control.

Mitchell had the ball at the top, looked to Caitlin who had nobody with in six feet of her, looked the other way and passed it to Fagbenle for a contested three as the shot clock expired. Something is definitely going on with this team and their jealously of Clark.

She creates opportunities for others and shoots when the ball comes back or the defense sags off her. But the team needs to be built for spacing to succeed like that. If the team is weak they can clog the paint and play her close so she can't get space to shoot or drive. If you watch the nba you can see what happens when a bad team like detroit brings in a great player like cade and he suddenly can't shoot cause he's being guarded like crazy being the only option on a bad team. She's doing poorly for sure but the reason is bad team building and coaching not lack of skill.

Sides is Dead Set to Fix Something that Isn't Broken, by changing Caitlin's way of Playing Basketball....To What Intention, I have to ask. it appears that Sides intention is to Destroy the Goose that lays Golden Eggs, which Hurts not only The Fever, but the entire WNBA. Sides looks as if she's Committed To Destroying Caitlin's Basketball Abilities, and Assure That She Fails. If Sides is Allowed to do this, the Fans who are filling Stadiums and Arenas Currently, will Disappear, as quickly as they came, and some other Fans will Follow Them, leaving The W in even worse shape, but with no Opportunity to Rehabilitate that Fuster Cluck, that is the WNBA. The Hubris Is Palpable, and if there isn't a lot of "Come To Jesus" moments Immediately Implemented, that league is Done For, and every one of these young Draftees will be Wasted & end up playing Overseas, For More Money. Having coached college men's basketball, the Fever's offensive schemes are some of the worst I've ever seen. No one can get an open look and they fight to beat the shot clock time after time. Defense is definitely substandard, but offense is much lower than that.....Totally wasting the best women's player ever.....

Ya I would be trying to match the pacers playstyle if i was their coach. A quick run and gun offense centered around clarks passing and shooting would be better fit then whatever it is their trying to do now.
The wnba has the best opportunity to build a huge fan base . But they are blowing it due to bad referees and a bad coach .

We've seen her play under pressure before these wnba defenders aren't much better its just that before in iowa she was under a coach who designed the offense around her star so she's setup for success while in indiana she's been sent out to die with no plan for success. She will adapt and get better numbers but the team will never win like this.
Clark cannot make points if the team does not give her the ball. As simple as that.
She made great passes that were fumbled, missed by her teammates. I do blame the coach and organization. I saw her open any number of times and they never even tried to pass it to her. It is not the job of coach to fit this player into their system, they need to adjust their system to Caitlin, NOW!
If its that obvious for us, imagine what's going through her head. I like how she's handling this and hopefully she doesn't have to hold back for long.

Last night's game was a total bust. As a Hawkeye, it was painful to watch. The FEVER looked like they all were running a fever suffering from the FLU. The WNBA is going to royally screw up this opportunity. Exactly! Why is she not playing point? When the Fever were getting some momemtum Clark was on point and pushing hard trying to get something going, and it was working, and then after the time out, she was back to the 2, and the momemtum was gone! WTF? They don't drive into the paint, they hesitate, they don't shoot, they don't set up at least one player to attack the offensive boards, they look a lot like the Washington Generals playing the Harlem Globetrotters. I felt sorry for Caitlin, the looks on her face, she was fuming, the frustration on her was painful to watch, and it was hard to watch Bluder and Jensen's reactions from behind the Fever's bench. I wonder if Caitlin is looking up Ice Cube's phone number.

You are right, the hype was heaped on the Fever way too soon and now it's crumbling before their very eyes which makes it even worse! Big changes need to be made with the team; Boston is terrible, they need a power forward who can box out and get rebounds and Clark needs to shoot and shoot and shoot which is what she does. Sometimes on offense Clark doesn't even touch the ball now which is a mistake that the coach is making! Right now, Clark has a target on her back because of all the hype and since the rest of the team sucks, I see things only getting worse for the Fever!

Agree, the team doesn't help her at all, nor the way they play. Caitlin is being wasted. Even now, she tried to make her best, gave amazing passes, but the team doesn't seem to understand her or being able to follow her. The whole team should be invested in making her shine and support her.

If the player is a great driver they fill the team with shooters to space the floor. If the player is a great passer they fill up on finishers. This team has no identity and from what i can tell no plan. They don't space the floor, they don't set good screens to create space, they don't move well without the ball and they don't know how to deal with your star being double teamed. Most of the issues are down to coaching scheme and team chemistry.

The WNBA can’t afford for Caitlin Clark not to have her Stephen Curry moments of shooting about 25 to 30 shots a game-and yes I’m talking about launching 3$-which is her money shot and what the fans wants to see out of Caitlin Clark this year! If I were the coach of the Indianapolis Fever I would run the Paul Westphal offense (just run and gun and try to out score the your-the Fever’s-opponents!) Then during the offseason the Fever can work on their defense- and offensive sets…But, for this year… can we please turn Caitlin Clark loose and let her run the same offense she ran at Iowa-that worked… Iowa made it to back-to-back NCAAW Championship games! Therefore, the style of basketball Caitlin Clark needs to play has been time tested and proven. Not only do they need to get her the ball...they need to give her permission and support her playing her style. That's going to mean that sometimes you're gonna watch her take and miss a 30ft bomb. But last night Sabrina Ionescu was 1/7 from 3 and she stayed in the game and kept shooting and started hitting. CC was 1/5 from 3 and got benched.
She’s a jump shooter and she just got done playing an entire college season and made it to the finals and only had a month off before she starting another season. She has tired legs and it’s showing with her poor efficiency from three-point range. That’s not getting talked about enough. It affects her more than it would a post player like Angel Reese because jump shooting is all about having fresh legs.
The best stretch the Fever had last night was the last 3 minutes of the third. They were down by 22. Clark touched the ball every possession and they went from being down by 22 to 11.
This game was like a high school coach in a progame.. Team isn't allowing CC to get into the zone. When she is, she can't miss... CC needed some good screens and double screens.. She was froze out.. Makes me wonder why, too..
