personally i think dark souls 2 is better than 3. 3 has good boss fights, but the level design is so linear and boring compared to the first 2 games. and the bonfires around every corner was really annoying, i loved in the first game how the bonfires were so spread out you'd feel fear of dying when you strayed far from one, into unknown areas. ds3 was when devs were going overboard with making games more "accessible", aka easier and less punishing. in the original dark souls, and even demon's souls, if you died at a boss you didn't just get to run right back in there and try again, without fear of losing anything if you failed. even though i like the bosses in ds3, it's my least replayed game of all the soulsborne games, i just find everything else about it so boring.
I mean.. sekiro is the biggest outlier and I get why ppl would prefer others because of that. And I'm saying this as a person who has Sekiro at 3 (and DS3 at 2 if you want to know 😅)

Bloodborne is very good! BUT... Don't make the mistake of jumping into it if you have never played a souls game before. It will get annoying quickly. I recommend playing dark souls 3 first to get you used to souls games
DS2 Scholar being more difficult? In the original bosses hit like a truck, rendering armors useless... As for Bloodborne - there's PS4 emulation and at this moment you can finish the game, maybe even platinum it.
I love Bloodborne, but Elden Ring has the best bosses designs. No way u said that. Also, ER has the best bosses imo; Messmer, Bayle and Midra are the best of the best.

-Objectively the best dlc because that dlc alone is almost the size of DS3
- Most begginer friendly, even people that never liked souls like games can enjoy ER
- Beautiful art stlye and open world
- Most build variety
- Sekiro definitely has better combat than ER, but I do think ER has much better combat than DS3, ER has like 300 weapons and there are so many fun weapons with unique ashes of war and you can apply ashes of war to any weapon you like, i would maybe even say it has better combat than bloodborne, but sekiro stays number 1
- The exploration is really fun and rewarding
I absolutely agree with ranking Sekiro lower in this list
It is an amazing game, but once you beat you forget it just like nothing happened
understandable list. sekiro too low tho
I just don't see the Bloodborne hype. It's obviously a fantastic game but no way it's the best
No its
2015 and 30 fps + go deep in the lore and you will realize how it's gameplay , soundtracks , bosses, and ingame elements are linked all together, and still goes deep and deep
How come?
-Solid replayability thanks to how viable and UNIQUE the weapons are
-It's the first game with truly FANTASTIC bosses, especially with the DLC kickstarting modern FromSoft multi-phase epic bosses
..and that's besides how magical the first playthrough is. The lore and atmosphere is SO good and doesn't scream "Dark Souls clone" either like DS2, DS3, and Elden Ring could be accused of (by simply being in medieval fantasy settings).
@@Metalton95all its fantastic bosses are in the dlc, most bosses are bad, some mid, some good in base game. and the areas after cathedral ward are either mid or god awful. i’d put in my 4th or 3rd
@@kurisu28 no way you started your explanation why Bloodborne is the best with "2015 and 30 fps"
I agree it's a masterpiece but i don't think it's the best souls game
I would have put Dark Souls 3 at number 1, other than that solid list
DS3 is the most boring tbh
@@WeirdTroll666 DS3 had my favorite bosses in the series but everything else just feels bland, Enemies, level design, weapon variety, artistic direction. All dat
@@AarenDecker-z5t agreed
@@AarenDecker-z5tyeah it just looks very sad like it is very grey
@@AarenDecker-z5tI think ds3 has gameplay perfected from level design to enemies to bosses etc, but I do agree the artstyle does feel fairly bland
I started with Dark Souls 1, then played DS3, then Sekiro, then Elden Ring, then Bloodborne. There's just something about Dark Souls 1 that smashes every other game out of the park - the ambience, the music, the environment. Only area it lacks is gameplay which is why it needs a proper remake. If Dark Souls 1 gets a remake it will be the undisputed best Fromsoft game.
I put Elden Ring in number 1
Npc take
@Travisaurus i think there is nothing more npc than putting bloodborne at number 1
@@Travisaurus Oh I'm not allowed to have my favorite souls game as my number 1?
@@ignacio1784 I don’t think u know what npc means. Putting bloodborne at #1 is an unpopular opinion, therefore not an npc take, you are in the crowd of people who don’t care that the game has major flaws and acts like it’s a perfect game anyway, in other words, an npc
@@LadyOfTheEdits I didn’t say that, it’s just such a boring take. Like yeah, I know, 90% of people agree with you
Great list, wouldn’t change a thing
Would definitely change sekiro way too low
Sekiro and ER should both be higher than BB imo
Sekiro needs to be higher and ER needs to be lowered
@@AarenDecker-z5t Nah ER should definitely be somewhere in the top 3
@@jameslough6329 1. BB 2. Sekiro 3. ER, thats my ranking
BB is the only one I don't like
DS1 > Sekiro > BB > ER > DeS > DS3 > DS2 for me but I like them all.
2:50 "no option when it comes to armor" that's very false you'll be able to get new armor after beating the game once, 6:10 i get so annoyed with everyone calling elden ring "the first open world game" it's not
List is all good but i would change sekiro to be a little higher
From-soft makes some of the best games.
1. Elden Ring
2. DS3
3. DS2
4. BB
5. Sekiro
6. DS1
7. DS
the only places i would swap are ds1 above ds3, and elden ring above bloodborne, not because games are better or worse, but because i enjoyed them more. also, i disagree with ds3 being the hardest, and that may be because it was my fourth souls game, but i find the bosses easier than ds1 and ds2 (i second tried nameless king and third tried slave knight gael, but i struggled against artorias and died way too much to kalameet)
This would be my ranking (Have not played Demon's Souls)
6. Dark Souls 2
5. Dark Souls 3
4. Elden Ring
3. Sekiro
2. Bloodborne
1. Dark Souls
Bloodborne is the only one I didn’t finish, the farming for blood vials just took any will of completing it away from me. I’m sure I’ll get back into it one day but out of the 7 I’m replaying any of the other ones
Elden Ring and Sekiro are tied for my favorites, by far the best combats of any of the games as well as the bosses and replayability.
I absolute agree with your list Bloodborne is special you just can t explain it, the emotions that Bloodborne gives are unique ,games are fun you can find lots of them but Bloodborne is one of the kind is what a genious team can do when a game is a made of hard work love and care but i respect all the other games mostly Elden Ring
I agree with most of your list but you did Sekiro dirty.
1. Bloodborne
2. Sekiro
3. Elden Ring
4. Dark Souls 3
5. Dark Souls 1
6. Dark Souls 2
7. Demon’s Souls
How dare you put Sekiro in number 5!!!
My personal list is
1. Elden ring
2. Bloodborne
3. Ds3
4. Ds2
5. Demons souls
6.ds1
It's funny Hewg never crafted a weapon for you, only strengthens weapons you find/already have
This is the most controversial ranking I’ve ever seen 😂
My list:
1. Elden Ring
2. Bloodborne
3. Sekiro
4. dark souls 3
5. Dark souls 1
I haven’t played Demon’s souls or DS2 yet, but I plan on it soon. I still like DS1 a lot, but compared to the others it’s just too easy.
Everything post 2015(Bloodborne)for me is on the same page, then it's on taste. Haven't played DS2 but DS1 is too clunky for me. Too slow, camera is shit. Plus DS1 enemies aren't that tough
I think my favorite souls game now is Ds3 then Ds1 then Bloodborne i cannot respect dark souls 3 enough i dont understand why alot of people give this game some crap its fantastic the bosses are amazing Darkeater and Gael are fantastic i mean its the perfect souls game for me but ds1 might overthrow it because my god i love the 1st souls game its way too good I would put Elden Ring in my 3rd spot but it's very difficult ranking all these games Elden ring is glorious but I have a deeper connection with Bloodborne and the other souls games.
from all souls games ds2 and sekiro are my favorites they are most replayable and fun difinitely love ds2
Convinced you did Sekiro dirty for the engagement farming. It’s the only way!
Bloodborne is practically objectively the best, hell yeah
I don't see how, the bosses are worse than elden ring, sekiro and dark souls 3, the healing system is awful, the lamps are awful, the base game late game is so mediocre with levels like nightmare frontier, upper ward and yahar'gul, is not so replayable, besides the atmosphere ,some really awesome areas and maybe the combat. i just think is inferior to sekiro and elden ring
Not at all. 0 knowledge, cry hard.
@@ignacio1784 you’re supposed to engage with the game differently I’ve only played a bit of blood-borne so yeah er bosses are a lot more complicated and interesting to engage with, but neither could exist in the other game
I respect your opinion but it is unacceptable to put sekiro at 5 and ds3 above this
The problem is dark Souls 1 above sekiro...
@@ClashMini-tu4geDark Souls 1 is my only Fromsoft game above Sekiro, they’re the top 2 for me.
personally i think dark souls 2 is better than 3. 3 has good boss fights, but the level design is so linear and boring compared to the first 2 games. and the bonfires around every corner was really annoying, i loved in the first game how the bonfires were so spread out you'd feel fear of dying when you strayed far from one, into unknown areas. ds3 was when devs were going overboard with making games more "accessible", aka easier and less punishing.
in the original dark souls, and even demon's souls, if you died at a boss you didn't just get to run right back in there and try again, without fear of losing anything if you failed.
even though i like the bosses in ds3, it's my least replayed game of all the soulsborne games, i just find everything else about it so boring.
I mean.. sekiro is the biggest outlier and I get why ppl would prefer others because of that.
And I'm saying this as a person who has Sekiro at 3 (and DS3 at 2 if you want to know 😅)
I have Sekiro and dark souls 3 in my top 2
More souls slop, I sub
1. Bloodborne
2. Sekiro
3. Elden ring
4. DS3
5. DS1
6. Demon's souls
7. DS2
Bloodborne is definitely the GOAT
where’s credit to original vid?
I'm brand new to this channel, and I like it so far, but i have a genuine question that I hope doesn't come off as rude.
You pronounce a LOT of things incorrectly in these videos. Is that deliberate, in order to be quirky, or do you honestly have trouble pronouncing a lot if things?
Cause it's like every other location, character, or item name pronounced wrong.
No credits?
Keeping sekiro that low, you must be insane
Sekiro is linear? You got to choose between 3 paths after killing genichiro, and between 3 completely diferent endings (screw the dragons return).
Bloodborne is very good! BUT... Don't make the mistake of jumping into it if you have never played a souls game before. It will get annoying quickly. I recommend playing dark souls 3 first to get you used to souls games
I have a really bad hot take so I don’t know if I should say it
'Superior' build, strength builds are as easy mode as intelligence builds
can we stop saying that sekiro is a souls? the only souls feature it has is the difficulty and the fact that it was directed by michael zaki
I think it goes demons souls
Ds2
Elden ring
Sekiro
Bloodborne
Ds1
Ds3
(Lowest to highest)
Insane list. Feels like it was written by AI.
Sekiro isnt the best but saying it has no replay ability is stupid because ive beat that game 7 times in a 3 day span once
DS2 Scholar being more difficult? In the original bosses hit like a truck, rendering armors useless...
As for Bloodborne - there's PS4 emulation and at this moment you can finish the game, maybe even platinum it.
ELDEN RING THE BEST
5:33 *PLING PLING PLIOGS*
Everyone has their best (Bloodborne) and worst (sekiro). And those are mine. I couldn't get into sekiro.
Bloodborne at 1st and sekiro 5th is diabolical.
I love Bloodborne, but Elden Ring has the best bosses designs. No way u said that. Also, ER has the best bosses imo; Messmer, Bayle and Midra are the best of the best.
Elden rings bosses would be my favorite if all of them felt like they were on the same speed level... To me it feels like Dark souls movement with Sekiro speed bosses
I love demon souls prolly my favorite besides ds3
Sekiro at 5 is a sin
😂😂😂😂😂 it's the buzz for me INFINITY!!!
Right from the start peak opinion 👍🏻
Hm why hello there and okay
Im not gonna lie, i love bloodborne, but i dont really like the fast paced action and combat, its just not for me
Bloodborne is so ass 💔
One of the worst takes yet
Yeah and his short literally has a different list and I have to reply to a comment and can't make my own comment now probably because he knows he is doing scummy practices
Sekiro is the best hands down
Sekiro not in top 3 is not acceptable
I mean other than the bosses and other 1v1 encounters (20% of the game at most btw) it’s straight up not that fun
@@Travisaurus the combat is just so fun. when i beat the story of games and some major side quests, i usually put the game down and then start playing another game, but with sekiro it was different, i finished the game at 55 hours and now i have 70 hours, i come back to sekiro every once in a while to refight isshin, inner genichrio and true monk, those bosses are so fun to fight. I have other main games, 2 weeks ago it was god of war ragnarok but i beat it recently and now i'm replaying elden ring with mods and that's my main game at the moment, but i still come back to sekiro every once in a while
@@walter-bijeli ur proving my point. You only go back to the game to fight some bosses cus that’s the only good part of the game lmao and the combat is only good for 1v1 encounters which is why bosses are fun
@@Travisaurus damn you're right. But 1v1 boss encounters are goated, i really hated when bosses were surrounded with like 5 guards, especially when those guards were carrying a gun
@@walter-bijeli exactly, which makes sekiro the game i want to replay the least maybe of any of them, glad we agree
Let me add guns to a souls series stupidest idea ever no wonder it was canned
i have played every from software game... except the very old one... no wayyyyy sekiro is 5... atleast 2... correctly 1... blood born difficulty is carried by its annoying bosses... IMO the design is pritty bd... specially compared to elden ring or sekiro
boss design is so bad in bloodborne 💀 the dlc carries so bad. it’s fantastic but it’s not better then elden ring or ds3 or sekiro
yep. Base bloodborne is pretty much garbage compared to the series, DLC is literal peak though, so can't get mad
Bloodborne has the second best combat system after sekiro IMO. Also trick weapon system is fun... but ye besides the DLC bosses the rest are pretty meh
@@AarenDecker-z5t agree
@@AarenDecker-z5t yea and even some of the level designs are lackluster and imo only around half of the trick weapons are actually good the other half are boring asf. the combat system is really good but don’t even get many good bosses to hash out the combat system on fr
1 sekiro
2 ds3
3 ds1
4 Bloodborne
5 Elden ring
6 demon souls
7 ds2
Ds3 anor londo was disappointing
Sekiro at 5? Well that's an easy dislike
Saw sekiro low immediately stopped watching
Well was watching until I heard Sekiro so low. I know this is all opinion but cmon man.
Sekiro >ds1
My personal list(I have not played Demon's souls)
6. Dark souls 2(This game never understood what made the first one so good in the first place as it's main focus was quantity over quality. And I believe Scholar of the first sin made the game more frustrating, not hard.)
5.Elden Ring(A really good game but I did not enjoy it as much as the others)
4.Dark souls 3(Not a fan of the art design and some of the bosses are mediocre at best)
3.Dark souls(Had a hard time getting used to the janky mechanics)
2.Bloodborne(Loved pretty much everything about it but sadly it's exclusive to an old console)
1.Sekiro(My first fromsoft game and the one that got me into the franchise. My first playthrough was extremely hard but I wasn’t frustrated as the challenge was always fair).
Bb is so fucking overrated it’s insane. Dogshit boss roster, mediocre/short base game and the dlc carries hard. Sekiro, elden ring, and ds3 are easily the big 3 in the series
Bloodborn 😅😅 nope it a really Easy game let it go stop wanting a Bloodborn 2 they don't care about Bloodborn at all
The objectively worst list on RUclips
this list is buns lol never rank again
Hard Disagree. DeS and DS2 are my favorites (ER too), BB and DS3 overrated. I play these games for a different reason though, atmosphere
GinoMachino is god compared to HappyHob, Hob aint the greatest lol.
At this point Bloodborne is overrated
1. DS3
2. Bloodbourne
3. Elden Ring
4. DS1
5. Demons Souls Remastered
6. Sekiro
7. DS2
