How do you think it would survive without being underwater, it was on land too long, struggling to breathe. Why didn’t they have access to a boat to pull it out. How do you get sharks and dolphins in an aquarium? That’s crazy. The whale didn’t stand a chance.
If anybody wants a bit of a positive way of looking at this… many species of whale are actually doing quite well right now. Many populations are getting far above the endangered levels they used to be at. Whales do get sick and die for natural reasons. So the fact is seeing more whales wash up on shore is sad to see but an indication that the population is growing. Just a thought. FYI I’m a life long cetacean lover.

Looked like propeller cuts from a very large vessel to me. Cargo ships have been backed up out there for months. Thanks so much for posting Cali goings on.

You do realize those mammals, shark&dolphins, are entirely smaller than a whale?
