    I remember BIrd, with a bad back, in Game 5 against the Pacers. Took a hard fall, knocked himself out, got a concussion and broke a bone in his face in the 2nd quarter. The Celtics fell behind by 3 points after leading by 10. He came back in during the 3rd quarter and DOMINATED the Pacers leading them to a 124-121 win. No way LeFlop ever does that. He gets a bruise and decides he needs to miss the rest of the game.

    Imagine being the face of the league, 4 time champion, scoring leader, damn near billionaire, 40 year old grown man leaving social media because it's "too negative".       There is a reason why Jordan left the Bulls and retired (for the second time), he knew his body wasn't quite there anymore and he wanted to leave at his peak. You could tell when he was on the Wizards that the mind was willing, but the body just wasn't quite there anymore.
      Kobe continued at the Lakers after the point his body wasn't there anymore, but you certainly couldn't fault his effort.
      LBJ stopped playing defence in 2015, his body was already done then. His mind was never there to begin with.

    People don’t give credit to Kobe when he had that 60 points in his final game. He knew his shots were not going in and they were losing by double digit. He was put high amount of shots. Kobe could have easily said, “I’m done” and sit out the rest of the game. He never quit and will his team to a final win. Even though the win was pointless, he tries to win and never quit. So do you want a guy who continue to play as hard as he can or a player who just totally quits?

I don't really get into GOAT discussions because...Jordan, Chamberlin, Russell, Bryant...etc. I think it's really hard to talk about one greatest, especially over a period of time that makes it impossible to compare them, BUT, I don't include James in the list with Jordan, Bryant, and a BUNCH of others, because his attitude has always been that of a woman, not a man. He complains all the damn time...the men who belong in the GOAT discussion still don't.

And there are also instances of majority of the people not agreeing about the rightful MVP winner. If voting for awards can be this flawed, how much weight do you really put in it?
      Winning is the only thing that can't be influenced by opinion or bias.

      I can't compare LeBron to Peyton. Peyton Manning didn't choke in the playoffs.
      Like when he lost, his teams ledgit just didn't show up. I get what you're saying because Manning has all the regular season success, but I believe Peyton is who the media wants LeBron to be.
      Peyton never ever made excuses for losing and he had every right to. Plus Peyton beat Brady more in the post season.

    Sincerly I'm not sure if he has not poisoned the waters, since we see so many young talents or "superstars" fail similar to him. See KD, Harden, Westbrook, Embiid, Young, Davis, Booker, maybe even Giannis, Doncic, Tatum, Edwards, etc. - I'm not sure if the intensity and true fight for the win will be getting better in the coming years. Jokic is a class act, but he alone can not bring the full league package.

    Will say... I do feel a bit bad for Bronny though NGL. Imagine if he was still in UCLA. He might be that much better, he might not be. But he'd be doing things hopefully his way, having a great time still being a kid and away from this world. I do admire how much LeBron seems to care for his kid and how badly he wants his kid to succeed. I just hope that, genuinely, it works out for him.
