Very helpful but I have questions: Does your pancreas convert "Something" into Enzymes and Hormones. If so how does this work? Or, what does it use to create them? Anything? Are they created without any help from food or other parts of the body? Please help!!!
Thank u. This help but I'm scared to get pregnant I don't want a baby to have this or I don't want it to kill me doing pregnancy.. help will this kill me if I get pregnant or what I do for baby in my belly not to have this
The topic of islet cells is being briefly discussed in one of our expert videos "What happens during a total pancreatectomy with islet autotransplantation (TP-IAT)?" ruclips.net/video/ZXJHwct8wZw/видео.html
Yes, I am also facing the digestive issue and some of the food am unable to digest like which contains protein bcoz my pancreas is not producing protease. I decided to take the supplement just after eating the food which contains protein but this is really difficult so its better to eat the vegetables which are uncooked so that really help to cure your pancreas function bcoz you can't always take or carry the supplements
I was riding my bike and when I was turning my bike did a steep turn and the bicycle handle jammed into my stomach hurt but I got to the Hospital and they told me it was sooo close to hitting my Pancreas. I’m so lucky it didn’t. 🙏🏼😕

What would happen if say the protective layer wasn't formed or dissipated before reaching the duodenum? could these enzymes be absorbed in the blood stream?
sooo what if..... being overweight isn't a contributing factor of poor pancreas health, but a consequence? A consequence of a high sugar, high carb diet, and insulin resistance. And what if eating more fat is one of the things that helps to lower insulin resistance, and repair pancreas function? When is this science going to be recognized?
Reading lots of studies saying meat, dairy, sugar, caffeine, alcohol, damages your pancreas lol. Also lots of mental illnesses form because the pancreas is not fulfilling its duties this puts extra strain on the gut.
A full semester class containing the pancreatic part is done in three minutes. Love it.

What is she talking about protective layer over the enzymes? I can't find information on this anywhere?
She meant that they were stored as proenzymes (inactive form )in what they call zymogen granules eg trysinogen
This was great! Thank you

sooo what if.....
being overweight isn't a contributing factor of poor pancreas health, but a consequence?
A consequence of a high sugar, high carb diet, and insulin resistance. And what if eating more fat is one of the things that helps to lower insulin resistance, and repair pancreas function?
When is this science going to be recognized?
The surprising part was insulin is endocrine, ie hormones mood is what affects secretion not food necessarily.
Too much sugar is another pet of your diet to limit to help the pancreas.
Oh my God... Thank you.
