Because of Criterion's involvement in it's production, this game feels way more like a spiritual successor and last hurrah of the "Burnout" franchise. The Burnout franchise will forever and always hold a very special place in my heart when it comes to gaming. So this game is up there when it comes to my Top10 Racers. I hold it in a different bracket than the rest of the franchise. 2005's NFS MW is my favorite of all time when I look at the whole series.

@@3du4rdo. i respect your opinion but as a kid when i found out i should be racing the most wanted and that this game wasn't just a glorified free roam game i actually started doing it and each boss was a challenge and i had to actually git gud to beat them and I loved the cars i got from winning the bossfights. and it was also fun getting the cops on my tails and seeing how far i can last, most of the time it was only until the armoured trucks started showing up lmao, overall i had fun with it as a kid but i haven't played it for a long time so who knows maybe i won't like the game now
NFS: HP is a lot like counter-strike where you have limited tools and builds at your disposal (car + pursuit tech) and its all up to you as to how you use it on a specific or limited stretch of road/track, strategy is key. Rivals is like Warzone where it's a huge FFA map with crazy insane speeds and psycho powerful tech where it's more about who can tweak out the most, the fastest, wins.
1:56 looks like Internet Connection issues (seen it before sometimes, where a car stops at start/side road before "flying/glitching" out the track on the minimap)
I love how this game rewards you for screwing over your fellow racers and constantly throwing them under the bus. BUT it also rewards you if everyone works together but only if EVERYONE works together so there's always this very high tense alliance when around each other just because you don't know who's gonna break the tension and drop a spike strip first.

I bought the game like a week ago, had tons of fun and some rage moments i had but still it was worth it and i completed the game which i felt satisfied.
Crash out after another crash out. Been there done that. With some bizarre happenings with other players and another reason I like this game. Hate the wait time when your the lobby leader since it's difficult to get a full lobby.
