I grew up in South Side Jamaica Queens NY. No kid watched Disney channel growing up. It was the hood. You watched MTV or BET. I watched Disney when my nieces watched it. And I'm the same age as Raven. Armon is obviously a latch key kid.

I actually grew up with kids who did not watch TV or it was extremely limited by their parents, so it is possible. My own street couldnt get cable for a long time like others. It can happen.
Same with me I had cable ,and only a few of my friends in the neighborhood

Al, Claudia and me came from a different time. I was a full grown adult when Disney Raven came out. I knew Raven when she was on Cosby show. Not everyone watch Disney because some people couldn't afford that premium channel LOL

That So Raven aired on ABC Saturday morning, not just the Disney Channel. Disney owns ABC, and it did back then when that show premiered along with other shows. The Disney Channel would air the episodes first before ABC. I didn't have cable back then at the time, so I had to watch it on ABC.
The show was on regular TV..... I didn't have cable and I watched it!

It's possible. Everyone wasn't a Disney kid. I was more a Cartoon Network & Nickelodeon kid. I only watched Disney for it's Friday night movies.
Raven and I are the same age. I've never seen That's So Raven in my life. I know who she is through other movies, shows, and music, but not that show in particular. So, it's possible that her wife didn't watch TSR either. 🤷🏽♀️ Either way, dragging her and threatening DEA TH is insane.

Grow up watching that’s so Raven? We were like 15,16 ,17 when it premiered in 2003. Our growing up was pretty much behind us. I bet she meant she didn’t grow up watching “The Cosby Show” or “Hangin’ with Mr. Cooper” which I’ve heard her say before. She doesn’t seem to be genuinely interested in black people and probably didn’t grow watching black shows on tv such as the shows mentioned above or even raised around black ppl. Lots of celebrities like when ppl say they don’t watch their work or listen to their music because to them they aren’t with them because of their celebrity status, but Miranda just seems like she was probably sheltered from all things black. Raven was probably the first black person she’s ever been close to.

I’m close to Raven’s age and I have never watched That’s so Raven. I did watch her on reruns of The Cosby Show. In actuality, I never watch any Disney Channel growing up. Wasn’t my thing.

Al you grew up in a different era, going outside was everything for Gen X, and further back , but younger millennials, and Z’s , its tablets , online games , and their shows, they communicate through text more than in person . I watched the interview and they’re lying. They might be reading comments but death threats or anything to the magnitude of going to ET about it was stretching. They provided not one thread of messages, not DMs or comments. Without references I gotta believe the story is made up or exaggerated beyond belief. Either way, just seemed ackward.
