I’m glad you popped into my feed today. It’s as if you really were speaking directly to me. I know my trajectory isn’t the most unique, as we see in the comments, but every single thing you said really was my life. From being raised with a narcissistic parent, to growing up fast to help out when my mother was unwell, to my mother eventually passing away in my teens. Yes you're completely correct that I left my childhood home at the age of 14. It was a toxic situation that I knew I needed to get out of. I did grow up fast and and have been through a lot of difficult situations. My supportive team was broken when I was young three of them passed away suddenly and the others moved away. I've always been a strong willed person. Because I had to learn how to survive, protecting myself the best I could at a very young age.
