I went with the 1275, and I purchased a set of XB heads, and had the 190, and 160 valves installed and of course ported but I run a Super G. That is a fire breathing dragon let me tell you. You got to love a Sportster. Good luck on your bike and be careful
Dude was hitting 50 in 3rd gear! I have to be in 5th gear to do 50 for any length of time.
Seriously? I run stock 883 gearing and go through the traps in the eighth in 3rd gear at 95 mph. 116 mph in fourth in the quarter.
A 1250 is not an 883
@@robbyclark6915 most 1250,s started as an 883. Hammer performance sells more 883 to 1250 and 1275 big bore kits than 1200 to 1250 and 1275 kits by a huge margin. He'll, they no longer sell 1250 kits for 1200,s. That's why my 1997 883 hugger is now a 1275. They discontinued the pistons used with 1200 heads. So yeah, an 883 is not a 1200 but it's still a sportster. And is the most popular recipient of a big bore kit.
Like I said…..a 1250 or 1275 or whatever is not an 883. I was referring to a stock 883. Why do I feel like I’m waisting my time talking to you?
@@robbyclark6915 I have no idea, the video is about a 1250. If you have not converted your 883 to a 1250 that's fine. It's your bike enjoy it.

When you first install the kit what did you run as far as Map just to turn it on?
What was the special they ran? Looking to do something similar.
is that the basic kit or did you get the heads ported too?
If I buy the kit, and take it to HD, will they put it on for me?
I want the 1250 kit, then I just want to save up for A Low Rider S or Street Bob. Check out Whiplash Speed Co seats, I think they are better then Saddleman.
Did you auto tune with narrow band or wide band sensors?
