Hey, I ran into you at the base of Nosedive this past weekend and had a nice chat. I did give it a go that Sunday and got up it - but the redpoint waits for another day. Thanks for the content, I'm sure I wouldn't have tackled it this season without your videos. Climb on!
Burly goal. Get strong. Learn to use your feet. Learn how to rest. There are "rests" all over this climb - even at the crux. And most importantly, learn to place gear and climb safely from someone who already does. Good luck. And say hi if you ever see me out there - just look for "the old man" :)

Hi Jeffery. Nice running into you! Really cool you got on it! Keep at it. Hope to see you out there again!
Super cool. First 10 I tried in the gunks (on TR). Leading easy 7s now. Goal is to lead this next year. You made it look easy!

out of curiosity what's the video rig setup that you use to get that angle of footage? It's pretty sweet and I wouldn't mind trying it out.
It's a rig I fabricated myself for a GoPro Max 360. Plus, on this video, I used a head-mounted Hero 10 for the close-up shots.
@@oldmanbeta is it kinda like a selfie stick tripod you managed to get stable hanging off the backpack?
@@climberly Yup
why the backpack on a single pitch ?
That's where I carry my videographer 🤣🤣
But seriously, it is part of my video rig.
