WT : I've crossed the line with my very best (divorced) friend. We give eachother as much space as we both had before. His children prefer to spend most time with me since their mother passed. He works long hours. Knowing the children since birth I enjoy them having over as don't have own children know of other friends who crossed the line and never felt sorry for it. Pure happiness.
Also, he says he didn't know that she liked him....He's so shy and maybe he thought she just liked him as a friend so he never made a move. Their relationship reminds me a girl I used to like in high school. She was very "Sandra" in personality and also physically. We were classmates, she used to make LOTS of moves on me and I did not correspond, sometimes I did, in a very shy way, like staring at her, giving her compliments, I even made a drawing for her. She moved to a desk close to mine, she gave me her phone number to call her, but my phone was broken at the time (old home phones), we have the same taste in music, she was very intelligent in math and I helped her with computer classes. But yet still, I was very insecure to make moves on her because she was my classmate and I would have to face jokes and somehow "protect her" because we were both new in that school. At the same time other classmates and girls in school would hit and make moves on me and I usually not reciprocate as well. The only girls I used to date sporadically that time was girls in my hometown, miles from there. I guess introverted guys always have this "aura" of mistery and especially if the girls find them handsome. They question themselves: - God, he is so handsome, why is he single? Is he single? Oh, there are more girls making moves on him. Maybe if I push a little bit more. What does he have or does when he is alone, he is so private about himself! On the other hand, we have that typical introverted guy asking himself: God, she is so good to be around, she is so open and funny, she goes straight after what she wants, she somehow "protects" me with her social skills, I wonder if she likes me that much because she is so open to everyone! Probably she only sees me as a good friend, better stay quiet and keep the friendship we already have... Our story ended almost like Keanu and Sandra. We did not kiss, met with social media, but lost contact, she moved to a distant country, and got married. I never got married but had long term relationships. I did try to date an introverted girl once, but it did not last much, the big majority of them were extroverted. I guess they also think: what if? and vice versa--when the eye contact would get too intense, keanu would bashfully turn away and look at the ground to keep his words from coming out a jumbled mess like we see 23:22 in 😭 she was his other half i swear
