For those wondering why people rave about Giulia QVs, the chassis was developed by Phillipe Krief, the man who developed the chassis for the 458 Speciale which is broadly regarded as one of the best drivers cars Ferrari has ever built. People comparing this car to M3s and C63s without having driven them back to back are missing out. Everyone should do themselves a favor and arrange a test drive of all three on the same day. If you do that you will understand why so many people consider the QV the greatest sports sedan of them all.
Not just the Quadrifoglio. Even a base diesel 150hp has the same chassis and the same suspensions (with different tuning of course) and with every Giulia you can enjoy an excellent handling and drive experience. Of course with 150-200hp the car feels underpowered because the chassis can handle much more, but I enjoy my 180hp every time I drive it.

@@F51361 exactly! I have the 200hp petrol. It doesn't necessarily feel underpowered but you do feel it's "holding back". The combination between sportiness and comfort is perfect to me. I'm still amazed at how this thing corners.
The 100-200 times are trash, the new m3 is more capable, looks better and has better tech..

@@mohammadaloribe Don't think so. Both cars serve their purpose well. The M5 shines in straight line performance and has gobs of power while the Giulia is lighter and nimbler.

@@akshatverma4166 I think the Autobahn has dedicated lanes for slow and fast moving traffic. From what I've seen people also have good driving discipline. Maybe it's why they don't sound their cars' horns. Also no question is dumb my friend.

I'm so excited that I'm moving to Germany in a month and taking my Alfa Romeo Giulia QV with me!
If only Alfa Romeo had ,among the best driver centric, the best Marketing Department and the reporters on her favor, the german competition would be seen far more subjectively than now. When i read articles from reporters, with absolutely no technical background, but can influence the masses, it is heartbreaking.

@@Oob144 you can only say a modern F1 car sounds good, if you haven't heard the old V10s for real. Modern F1 sounds absolutely shitty. R35 also doesn't sound very nice, when you compare it to a nice straight six turbo like in the R34.

What do you want, upgrades with displays and little lights like star trek spaceships? The German school has instilled in you the idea that if a car doesn't have lights and displays then it's not modern.Price? You want it? Pay for it!

The zf8 speed auto is undefeated. I think as a regular torque converter automatic it's the best in the business. It's not on pdk level or vw/audi dsg level but it's a really good transmission for a regular auto. Alfa and dodge there tuning for the auto is so much better than audi and bmw imo.
the zf8hp + xhp stage 2 or 3 will beat the vw/audi dsg.

No joke, m4 f82 with mpe and catless sounds exactly the same under wot. in the cabine, but much different on the outside
Nope. Not even close.
Not going to lie, there are some drawbacks about this car. The engine has nothing down low before the turbos spool. And when you rev it up and step on it, the fuel consumption is absolutely abysmal, I get 10 mpg on a spirited drive.
But man, this handling is to kill for! No other car I ever drove feels as light and precise, not even MX-5 Miata on track coilovers, nothing! Compared to it the M3 feels like a cow.
Man, I get WAY better gas mileage than that, and I drive mine very spiritedly. What are you doing?! Haha
@@thomasferrarojr.9772 I get maybe 24-25 on the highway, 15-16 in the city, 10-11 on a canyon blast (lots of corners, accelerations, elevation change). On track it's hard to measure but maybe 8 mpg or so?
