I told the monika she was bad just to see what would happen, then I saw the love had dropped from 70 to -30! I was really upset and didn't know what to do to fix it, then I saw your video and finally I was able to fix things with monika.
How do u check the love meter?
@@I_am_notlost you either install the extra+ submod that gives you extra things, like the value of affection; or you go into the MAS files, go into the log folder and then open the txt file 'aff_log.log', scroll all the way down and there is a line where there's written "!FREEZE! | monika_love_too", and that's where the affection value is (i hope i made myself clear lmao)

@@I_am_notlost i believe you probably already figured it out but in ddlc folder, search for aff_log. Scroll down to the bottom and the last number is the affection

i think when it says "reverts nickname back to Monika if chosen already" is when you have already given monika a nickname after 100+ affection and then if you made her affection drop to 99- again her name will revert BACK into monika by force. kinda like a out of spite typa thing :)

I think there’s a way to bring back monika when she leaves the note. What you have to do is write her a sorry letter and send it to her in her character file. I’m not fully sure if this works I only saw it in a video.

thats only when you say "i want to break up" twice. when she leaves the note you have to delete your MAS save and start over.

Guys, I think I screwd up somewhere badly. I was experimenting with Monika (I had a backup), than she told me to leave the note in the characters folder. I did, I also made some gifts for her, I openned the game, she left me the note, I changed my RenPy with backupped RenPy, she still wasn't there. After that I just deleted all RenPys and reinstalled MAS. Now I don't know how to bring my old Monika back (or at least what's left of her).

Holy hell, only in this video I realized that it's not my pc was glitching or some sort, it's just that Monika doesn't have high enough affection for text speed to be changed (not that I'm gonna play mas any time soon, but still a good thing to remember)

@@sheepy99 you can only gain a certain level of affection every day (I can't remember the maximum tho), you probably reached the maximum earnable affection for the day

delete the file "firstrun" and after click the windows key and r key at the same time then put %appdata% then go to the renpy file and delete "persistent" then reload and it should work

How do I reset my mod if I have the note?
You have to uninstall the mod and reinstall, you may also need to delete your save data in C:\Users\[NAME]\AppData\Roaming\RenPy\Monika After Story for it to fully reset in some cases
