AiPlanet was my first taste of Aikatsu and I still love it despite it's flaws. I collected every (and I mean EVERY) Dressia design in a Google File, but thanks to this video, I can appreciate the deeper analysis of the dresses and the creatures themselves! AiPlanet could've been great if given more time and a better story, but I'm glad that it at least exists and that someone finally made a video on this topic. Thank you!
🥺 Aikatsu Planet is my favorite season of Aikatsu too! Each dressia was carefully designed, starting from the meaningful motif and catchphrase + great design. The swing cards were also beautifully designed with unique frames and color. 😂 As a result, I purchased all swing cards (excepr for some SEC + campaign rare swing cards) & magazine fanbooks of Aikatsu Planet from Japan. 😢 So sad that Aikatsu Planet only has total 25 episodes. Really hope that next season of Aikatsu will continue to feature meaningful motif within the dress designs (just like Aikatsu Planet’s dresses).
Omg thank you I loveeee Dressias. I feel like it was not touch upon that much in the story. Card is life! For me though, Hana dressia is still my favorite. Even though I like the story dressia concept. The aurora pegasus is just aghhh stunning. 😭😭 i do like the phoenix one for the fairy type too tho Hope this video draws people attention to Aikatsu Planet more because so many people sleep on it because of live action mixed with the anime.
Honestly I really love how the card looks, I had atleast 4 of them. If only AiPlanet succeed to S2, maybe we will get accessories in S2, because I imagine if S2 exist, we will be getting new mysteious idol who suddenly appear on a stage with accessories on the head, which resulting the side and main character (Hana and others) shocked to see the head accessories existence
I was looking forward to hear your thoughts on the Dressia from Aikatsu Planet and it was worth the wait ^^ From this first part I love the Fairy and Music dressia as I loved the variety of designs that came from them ^^ Especially with genres for music and mythology/fairies, as I love mythology I loved the inspirations ^^ Looking forward to part 2 ^^ Great video as always ^^
Also, humanoid Pegasus Angel reminds me of Angewomon from Digimon. Maybe it’s the angel with covered eyes vibe. Edit: I also got Naruto flashbacks when I saw Smart Kyubi.
I definitely agree with pegasus angel being a downgrade to the original PR of Aurora pegasus its a shame it gave a basic design since it was supposed to have a higher contrast than the PR I guess its like if PR took on star Premium rare dress but with a wrong turn😂. But I really love the ballet motif its a good take on from ichigos angely sugar PR it also made me wish they had the unused dresses in a season 2 its a shame we didnt get one since I love the show so much🫤…
