      Sens just acquired Ullmark, we fleeced the Bruins. We got rid of Korpisalo (25%retained) and didn't loose out 7th pick or have to trade any of our core. For your concern it not going to happen. The Sens made sure to have an extension agreement before they made the trade. We will have to wait until after Canada Day to find out what it is. Last I heard was 5 years at 7 million

    Swaymen has always been the goaltender for the Bruins' future. It was never Ulmark, he was acquired for insurance purposes and it turned out to be a pretty good move.
    Ulmark is the real deal for any team, especially a team like Ottowa or Buffalo.
    Seventh overall pick for Ulmark! I'll pack his bags for him. He has to be more flexible with the no-trade clause he currently has. I can see his point not wanting to be dealt at the trade deadline, him being a family man and all.

    As a Bruins fan, I don't know…there are a lot of trades to make with Ullmark; this one with Ottawa, with Canes for Nečas, maybe cook with LA again, I've seen trades with Jersey (Holtz/+Mercer), if the stars are aligned right we might trade with Oilers (RNH most probably) or, maybe, even Draisatl (I'm delusional xd) and who knows what else could Sweeney cook. Out of all these trades, I'd say this one (Ottawa) is like third-fourth option to go. This is a trade where we have the most valuable asset, I don't mind giving up more for someone even more valuable (Drai, maybe Nečas not sure about his value) so if it takes Ulli, Merkulov/Carlo/Lysell, some draft picks to get player like Drai🤷‍♂️

    The Bruins have their D-corps pretty well-set. The top pairing is 100% not going to be Chicyrun, we have a potential future #1 defenseman, and another potential #1 D man as our second pairing left shot (Hampus Lindholm). 7th overall pick? Maybe. Team does need those, but I think
    1) It's thought that all Canadian teams are likely on Ullmark's no trade list
    2) Bruins have zero needs on defense now. It's all about scoring and specifically centers. I doubt the Senators would trade Brady Tkachuk for Ullmark, and I'm really not so sure there is much else the Bruins would be interested in from Ottawa, even if it were possible to trade Ullmark to a Canadian team

    Ullmark is only on his current contract for 1 more year then he goes wherever he wants. If Sens give their 7th round pick away again, they gave a 7th round pick away to acquire Debrincat, that cost them Korchinski with Chicago. They also gave away a 12th overall pick to acquire Chychrun in last year's draft, the 13th overall was Benson selected by Buffalo. I could imagine the temporary fix, if you will, becomes an absolute Disaster. Remember, Sens keep giving away to acquire Murray, Talbot, and Korpisalo, not to forget Gustavsson.

  • @exturkconner
    @exturkconner Месяц назад

    I don't think Chychrun at his cap hit isn't an asset. You have to give up a something to move on from that guy. And that doesn't accomplish anything Boston needs to accomplish with moving Ullmark. Which is they need to potentially free up cap space to get a 1c in free agency, or package him towards a 1c in trade. You barely save any cap and you don't add to a position of need you add to a position of strength. Boston's dcore is good. I don't think I'd want Chychrun on the team taking reps from Lohrei or Wotherspoon.
    As far as Ullmarks value. He's an elite goalie. He's been top 10 in every major goalie category in each of the last three seasons. Won the Vezina by a landslide, and isn't making a stupid amount of money. Ullmark is an asset. So why would Boston take on a Chychrun cap dump and give away Ullmark for just a couple picks? That is exceptionally dumb. If I'm trading Ullmark to Ottawa I want Pinto. 100%.

Chychrun + 7th would be too much to give up for a goalie who doesn't fit with the fact that this team would be ready to compete for at least 2-4 years. For the love of GOD it’s pronounced Chic-krun. Jakob Chychrun (/ˈtʃɪkrən/ CHIK-rən; born March 31, 1998) Not how you say it. I stop watching any video of yours with his name associated.
