I used to eat the sliced black olives, as well as Kalamata olives, by themselves as a snack. I used to hate green olives, although I like them now. I don’t think you’d like olives at all given that you don’t like many foods, but if you were going to like any it’d probably be the sliced black olives. I really enjoy the texture. My understanding is that green olives usually taste stronger and more bitter, whereas black olives have a much more mild flavour. Although you might just hate all olives, I would recommend not writing off all olives just because you don’t like green ones. You probably wouldn’t like the kalamata olives, but I do think sliced black olives are worth giving a shot at some point.
