"Surgeries performed as a surgeon"??? What else would he have performed them as, a pilot, a chef, a janitor? It's hard to enjoy a story when such ridiculously unnecessary statements are made.
Why would Rachel be in the back of the bridal car? It's usually the bride and groom in the back with a driver, certainly in the UK. I liked this story and it appears there is hope that Rachel will change in the future. Parents have a lot to answer for when they give more attention to one child than another.
