Earlier today, I was on your site 'window' shopping. I was going to treat myself to a stamp set and this is the one I picked out. I carried it around in my cart while I looked at other things, but I put it back when my lunch break was over (preschool teacher). When you came on tonight and I saw the featured stamp set, I went back and ordered it. I am the ONLY person on either side of my family that isn't a beach person (give me cool/cold weather ANY time). I can't wait to make cards for - well, everyone I know. They'll love this! I'm even going to use it on scrapbook pages :) It's so wonderful of you to share your time with us and I'm happy you're going to continue to do so. I've mentioned to my husband often that your cards are elegant, and I believe it's because you're such a classy lady. Hilarious and real, but always classy :)

Awesome layout. And thank you for the tips for making an extra special card. The only change I would make is to use a darker tan or even a chocolate base card to make the boards stand out more. Yet I'm sure hubby would be thrilled with this card.

These are beautiful cards! y favorite is the beach scene. Cant wait until Rina's wave stamp is back in stock. I liked the wood plank technique too, but I added charcoal brown to the cracks between the boards. I love the live format!

I think some of us would have been appalled to realize that those techniques were meant to imitate grunge from decades, if not centuries!, of neglect and NOT scrubbing one’s environment!!!)
Afternoon, Gina - I don't know the age of your daughter, but she is so talented to come up with that wave stamp!! OMG!!! She really did that by herself, so...is she an artist? Just so curious, because that wave came out so beautiful - and...if you hadn't shown us how YOU did it, I probably would not have even thought about purchasing that stamp set!!
