Namibia is definitely a hidden gem, as a Namibian I'm surprised that Africans don't know Namibia but we Namibians know about other African countries. Namibia is paradise, and it really is clean as shown. You should come visit.
No sir, those are mostly white people areas that you are shown. 90% of black people live in Katutura where there is much poverty, overcrowding, and sadly people who live in shacks with no running water. Namibia is also a very expensive country where a small one bedroom house will cost you as much as $50 000 usd in a run down area.

The country is its people, not the buildings and roads etc. There is a reason why the President Hage is disputing the current economic status of Namibia as flawed. Namibia is bigger in size but with less people. That's why it's the 8th not the 2nd. But in terms of countries with the smallest population size, it's not even in the list of 10. google it

Windhoek has 500,000 people. Its not as quiet and empty as i see in pics. Very quiet weekends especially Saturday afternoon and Sundays as people descend out of town to neighbourhoods.
