Same tanay bhaiya, I learnt C++ in school and that's how we learnt from basic hello world to data structures by end of 12th. That's how the foundation was laid, then, JS, Java, ... everything became easy to learn later on in college and even now. But CS vs SE part is debatable, merely knowing typing 'gpp -o hello hello.cpp' makes a executable file which you can run is not enough. You should know the internals how the compiler is working, in case of JS how the interpreter works in browser, what is V8 engine etc. We have enough people who can write simple JS and react we need engineers who can build the frameworks and libraries of the future and for the both CS and SE are important. But these are my views. People are free to differ.
If you know JavaScript well, you can learn any JS Framework very easily. I've spent over a month that too after spending over 4-5 hours daily to learn JS but still there're many things I am learning.
