That girl (on the left) is SUCHHH a great speaker! She's so calm, clear and incredibly easy to listen too. She got interrupted at times yet never lost her train of thought or became impatient. She's awesome.
Please stop interrupting your guest. You need to complement with silence and subtle inquiry at the end. It breaks concentration and creates confusion. Wait until someone finishes and speak LESS.
Needed this!!! Currently creating a course on hand lettering and have felt very lame compared to these big number people! This was incredible encouraging!
I got so inspired by this! My head just lit up thinking of all sorts of possible course ideas! Thank you Jess and Gillian for this video, both if you seem so sweet :)
9:15 Awesome! I talk about learning languages, too, from the angle of having the right mentality, using good tools, using the language in a real world context and etc. One of my content tilts is that I focus more on increasing comprehension via reading, listening, and watching things created for native speakers than speaking. Thanks for sharing this point!
I work in fashion and would love to create courses/a RUclips channel about being a stylist... Only problem is I've a huge issue with marketing myself without feeling like I'm obnoxious or pushy. Any tips on how to overcome this mental block Gillian? Shouting the loudest does not come naturally to me 😅
You don't have to shout the loudest to be heard. Have you ever read The Power Of Introverts by Susan Cain. You can do it your way, and its more about being present, consistent, and giving value!
I’ve been thinking about teaching on skill share but figuring out what exactly what I want to teach. What I’m thinking about is what you all discuss about approaching topics uniquely. I’m brainstorming how I can approach what I know differently to teach it in a different way.
All excellent ideas! I currently have paid for the Creator Fast Track course for You Tube channels. Once I get some traction and subscribers I plan to create paid mini-courses and then bigger courses and place this in the description below my channel video post. The two go hand in hand. Thanks Gillian for great ideas.
Thanks you for posting this video. The information on course variety is mind opening. It gave me so many ideas on different topics. Way to go Gillian. 😎😁
Hi all!..we are not taught how to make money in our schools unfortunately..please devise a course how to make money in the times of Corona virus time..please advice when is your next course in how to make money?
Hi there. I went to Teachable to find courses to take and the only links I see are how to start my own course. Can't I find courses to take on this platform? or it is for creating your own courses and then selling them on other platforms? Thanks again for another very informative video!
@gillianzperkins I want to know the money that appear on your RUclips channel dashboard includes 50% RUclips deduction or excluded . Do you receive all the figures which appear on your dashboard in your bank account? Please clarify this for me, thank you.

The girl on the left has such a beautiful wholesome voice.
Loved Jess's mild and sweet voice. A voice that makes you want to cut everything off and start listening.
So enchanted
Agreed!
Too funny, thank-you Olga! :)

How do you take your large course and turn it into a smaller version to validate the larger course. Can you do a video on that?

11:32 Good idea about how Benny Lewis' language courses can actually turn into travel courses as well.
How / where do they market and sell their courses?

saarach alam Really? She’s married and has kids. I seriously hope you’re joking. I’ve seen a lot of these comments from our Indian friends from India.
