Thank you Janet. I truly feel the seal was bad. Therefore, it wouldn't keep cold or hot liquids at the right temperature. I will use it for tools, I use for creating. Thank you for your support ☺️💖
That's too bad, it's such a pretty design! I have a tumbler where the resin didn't totally cover the bottom edge, I'm trying to find a solution to avoid having to put a whole new coating of epoxy on it. Maybe UV resin will work,.
Thank you, Swamper60😊 I know, these cups are a $*@#∆. That bottom split is the worst. Unsolicited advice? Don't avoid putting another coat of resin on the whole cup. The longevity of the tumbler is a reflection on your work. I get it. It's such a pain to have to go back and add resin again. But you will have a clear conscience and know that your work is is going to hold up, through time.🙂 I hope this makes sense. I mean it in kindness and to encourage you 😊🌺🐭
@@sandisshedhouse4741 Thanks for the advice, this is strictly for a gift and I will explain the situation to the recipient, I have actually purchased silicone bottom sleeves and will put one on this tumbler and I may yet try to swab on either a clear coat or UV resin. I would add another layer but I was heavy handed with a prism-holo mix-in and while it's pretty I am concerned that another layer will further dim the design. I appreciate the response, I have subscribed!
It is pretty. Keep and use yourself.

I think it's beautiful, and a nice fix it job, love it 😘
It is a beautiful cup but I know the feeling when there’s that 1 cup that just wants to piss you off 😂😂
🤣🤣🤣 Oh, you know it did, Amanda. I'm swearing off any of the cups like this, from now on. Unfortunately, I think I still have some. 😩 Ugh
I agree, I think the cup has a bad seal in the making process from the factory. Especially because of where the line meets, it’s got air In the seal.
This wasn't the first or last time this has happened. I'm done with these types of tumblers.

Absolutely 😊. What are these sleeves you speak of? If you don't mind sharing 😁 And, thank you for joining the Shed Rats😊🌺🐭
@@sandisshedhouse4741 do you have a video where you made that beautiful blue tumbler you had issues with?
I'm not sure I kept the video. I'll have to do some digging.
