usually when i add someone's phone number to my contacts the next day that person appears in my suggested friends, i dont want my profile to appear in other people suggested list if they have added my number. would these settings help with that?

Luis, It sounds like your privacy settings might be more restricted than you want. Check your profile visibility settings and make sure everything you want public is set to “Public.”
