I don't usually add comments, but this vid is incredibly helpful. My son and I both ride with the Scorpion AT-950 helmet. Nice helmet for the money. Venting is good, vision is good and the drop down tinted visor is a must. The modular helmet design is personal preference. I thought we would use it a bunch.... and don't. Our comm system fit perfectly and doesn't get much wind noise from the helmet. The biggest gripe for this helmet - The peak is worthless. It isn't long enough to do anything for sun protection. It's simply there for looks. Someone please make an aftermarket add-on (or replacement) that does something!
Nice helmet though. Hope this helps!
Your input is definitely helpful, it's always good to hear peoples thoughts. Thanks for checking out the video and letting us know what you think!
Bell mx9 I've been using one for 3 hrs and very very happy with it!! Nice weight, great fit for my brain.. decent air flow. Perhaps a little noisy, but I don't know what I'm comparing it too. Anyway, you won't be disappointed if you get one!
I own a ds-x1, mind is orange and black in color,i love this helmet.i have owned this helmet for 4 yrs now .i got a dark shield on it.love it.
Hey. I’ve been using the Sierra 2 for about 2 years now and found it great value for money and a great fit and works well with my Senna communication system. The only downside to this helmet is the wind noise above 120km/h. It is hectic! Always use ear plugs that works well with your communicator.
below 100kmh, do you still hear loud wind noises?
I would love if they compared DB levels on the road at hwy speed. I have a helmet now that is so turbulent and loud on the hwy I can't stand it. Even with ear plugs the helmet is annoying.
I have the MX9 adv and I have been really happy with it. I thought it would be too hot to wear with the shield down in warm weather but surprisingly it is not. I even wear it with the shield down when I trail ride. It fits as well as my expensive Helmets do without breaking the bank.
Comfortable helmet, always found Bell to make great helmets.
Yeah O'Neil is great, great first hat.
The 3rd helmet in this looks exactly like the Oneal Sierra 1.
Budget lids! Yay!
Can anyone directly compare the hjc with the bell?
The shape of my head doesn't like budgets
Do any of these helmets have double shield for cold weather riding?
Yes, the O'Neil ships with a pinlock inner visor.
I have a Bell MX-9 adventure with mips. Great helmet!
Hi. Is it noisy? Can you compare it to anything?
@@ashwillmot2051 This is my first ADV/Dirt bike helmet, so I can't compare it to other dirt helmets. It is noisier than a regular full face helmet, but not bad. Btw, I always wear ear plugs.

Sunny's are a pain in the Ass imo.
I guess if you have little girl hearing these helmets might be too loud. Then again your wife shouting at you might hurt your ears too.
Yeah man, there's nothing more manly and tough than permanent hearing damage. Coming from someone with tinnitus since I was early 20s it fricken sucks.
@@HartyBiker Try using Turmeric, works for me. Tinitus can be inflamation, and excessive noise can trigger this. Is easy to grow if you dont' live in Alpine areas. Or just buy the powdered form. Hope this helps.
