Hi, Elena. That looks like a relaxing place to spend a weekend. It was interesting to hear how much you enjoyed reading Tom Sawyer. Maybe I need to read it again as an adult, too 😊
@Elena's Travels Yes, it will also be interesting to me because I'm familiar with the Mississippi River and the town where Mark Twain lived because it is near where I live 🙂
Hi Elena. It's always nice to travel back to beloved childhood places. As a child, we don't think about how dirty we get. We just have fun. Are all the dachas built differently?
Elena's Dacha film is my favourite and I'm so happy she has returned this year and made part two! The place is beautiful and her aunt and cat are fabulous company. The loft is nostalgic as is the old radio. Sometimes the filming is too fast because every frame is summer wonderful and worth taking time to savour, especially the dacha interior with it's old clock, wood yoke, stove and the magic self sufficient garden that surrounds it. Thank you for this beautiful feeling!
Outstandingly beautiful, tranquil, and peaceful. Time to reflect on a simple but memorable past. While there, you are living in a picture post card. Indeed an opportunity to reinvigorate your soul!
Hello Elena! Childhood memories are the best. Being young and playing with your friends and family. Really enjoyed this one. Made me think about my childhood memories. 😊
very nice video .The sprawling gardens with their vibrant blooms, and you feel your worries melt away in the peaceful surroundings. I will travel to Russia next month ... hope to see such a beautiful places😊
I remember the last time you visited the dacha. It's always relaxing to see life outside the city. Спасибо большое for sharing this moment in your own life Elena. ☺️
You and your aunt looked really happy there, and for good reason. The neighbour was right, good fresh air in the morning is certainly not a bad thing, and it's so nice and quiet there, and good people it seems.
Your videos are so beautiful. A peaceful respite from my cluttered material life. Спасибо большое. Looking forward to your next video. An example of how life could be if we came back to Mother Earth. Like the song says, She can nurture us that way our mothers did when we were little.
Thanks for keeping bits of Russian language in the video. I like comparing how much more advanced your season is, I am nowhere near getting cucumbers. Strawberries are about the same stage. We used to play in a castle that Mary Queen of Scots lived in....It became more regulated so the fun ended. From my upstairs I could also see the Estuary and the light house flashing in winter when the tree leaves fell. The treasure Island author was from my town so lots of adventures. I think the digger is a Chinese development.
Nowadays, bad internet connection means really good relax time 🙂 Wood houses are great, and insulation can also be added inside the walls, perfect to protect against heat or cold.
Spasiba bolshoe for this video .We have a chance to see real life outside of Moscow or Piter...like Russians here in Prague saying...vtaroj kosmos ...These dachas are very similar to our chatas in Czech Republic ...,every family living in big cities panel houses had to have it .I guess it was very afforbadle during socialism .I dont know if ( mechanicheskyj zavold or whatever gave them for free ) ...Its not in the west as you know ,deff not in the USA ....Its one of few positive socialists advantages from the past 🙂..of course somebody has huge Dacha like house ,somebody smaller .My auntie ,uncle has small winery there ,many trees ,( mostly plumbs for slivovice 🙂and cesnek ,strawberries ,rapsberries ,cherries ,etc..My mom has almost everyhitng except potatoes at our house garden ...,but no livestock . nice vid Elena ..you are sweet....Jura
@@elenastravels Your videos are fantastic🙂 yep ....we have silimar Dachas ,we call then CHATAS ..,and its usually close to a river ,or in the hillside ,always some acres to grow own vegetables and have some fruit trees .....over the summer ,Trucks cannot drive highways Friday afternoon and sunday aftrnoon ,because everyone from big cities driving to and from CHATAS 🙂
Our Lenochka is back to the country dacha in the summer, where she belongs😊. The items in the farmer’s market look AMAZING and the village is simply from an old Skazka! My grandparents would make similar Lepyeshki at their summer dacha (complete with wall rugs and Cherdak that we would sleep in when we visited) in New Jersey and they were yummy! Foraging for berries is always fun but beware of Kleshchi 😉. Thanks again for a beautiful and relaxing video in these troubled times.
What a lovely community, so far from the Civic centre or the well beaten path. Especially enjoyed the portion about the attic, and your childhood views of the world, as it lay at your feet, the horizon seeming so far away. Now look at you and the travels you've had.
I enjoyed this video of your visit to the dacha that holds such special memories from your childhood. My grandfather built a cottage away from noise and bustle of the city (Chicago). I too have precious memories of spending time there especially during the summer. Once again, you’ve done a great job making this video and sharing with your viewers your memories and experience visiting your grandma’s summer place.
Its very cool to see all your travels! Nature is great and its so good to get away from the city life and just experience the outdoors. I hope you are doing well and its good to see you enjoying life. We should skype sometime, my daughter says she doesn't remember you but maybe if she talked to you she would remember.
It's fascinating watching how people in Russia use Kefir. -- Here's an amusing story for you: though I'm an American, I was able to get kefir grains that originally came from Russia and when they ferment a batch of milk, I just add berries, bananas and honey to make it into a shake basically. I have heard that this is an unusual way to drink it, is that so?
Great content, as always. Cannot understand why S. Has 200k subs even though a former Emirate flight attendant and you just 7k and my other favorite from your region " Unforgettable " Less than 1k. Odd, but so appreciative of your work. Those glasses are beyond.... Thank you for bringing joy to my day.
Thanks for mentioning bodega cats! It makes sense now why they are in every shop. I had never thought about it this way before, I just thought that everyone likes cats 😅
Did you also go barefoot all the time in summer when you was a kid? We here in Bavaria did, often came home with dirty feet, ran through the house and got slapped for it, if mother has cleaned up the floor right before! 😆
Cat!!!! 😍🤩😍🤩😍🤩😍🤩😍 This vid makes me want to move there NOW!! 😍🤩😍🤩😍 And, once I have some Free mind, I am going to *take* this recipe - AND *VEGANIZE* IT!! 🤓😮😲😍😀🙃

My wife’s family had a very similar garden house near her Russian hometown. Such a quiet and peaceful place.
Yeah, many people in Russia have country houses like that 🙂
Hi Elena. It's always nice to travel back to beloved childhood places. As a child, we don't think about how dirty we get. We just have fun. Are all the dachas built differently?
Hi Kevin! You’re right. No, there are all kinds of dachas - from simple huts to literally palaces 😅
