I was shocked too when I heard that the 'I understand' head shake was unique to India only, people outside are absolutely clueless about the different head shakes and their meanings, yeah
and to sri lanka head shake is understandable
when our university opened courses for international students we had a lot of students from India and it was really weird at first until someone explained.
Same with Pakistan and i think bangladesh too.
@@fao-quinsal-ayin8136 it's the same i guess as we're neighborhood countries and at first we were all same after division i guess some of our habits changed but sone habits are same as before
@@Gnarkzsch which university??
Finally they are back together. I personally missed their interaction very much. I just love this trio. Need more videos of them together. Thank you Awesome world .
It's funny, Hoseung's comment about how to sound more fluent in Korean reminded me of my experience studying French. I speak pretty good French but during one conversation with my French tutor who was a French professor from Paris he told me to use the word "alors" during my pauses. French speaking people, he said, would assume I was much more fluent than I was. I started to do so and soon thereafter my French colleagues were raving about my French.
Vraiment ?
FINALLYYY our forever favorite trio is here 💙💙
Each and every habit of koreans just exactly match with Indians , this was too relative , as an indian things like sitting on floor , calling out waiter loud , tv and talking while eating , all were same and i loved this ❣❣
Yea. Same. I m half asian and almost all things were relatable.
@@curlybrows6039 I think its generally the asian habits not only koreans❣😂
Yess! Completely agree
Not his 3rd leg! 🤣 I love Hoseung! He is, indeed, a beast. 😂
It felt so long not seeing Hoseung in the recent uploads. It's sooo nice to see him back! 💖
I missed him too
My favorite trio is back!! Also, at 1:26 when Heejae starts talking about how foreigners find it weird that Koreans eat in the living room while watching T.V...I'm American and I eat in the living room while watching T.V all the time lmfao
Birthplace of the TV Dinner.
I even eat on my bed facing and watching TV
The beast is back 😁😁 Also, not Heejae saying WE NEED TO CHECK 😂😂
Love this trio, so cool together. Heejae is always a surprise, you never know what style or hair color she is going to have. Hope they show this group more often, maybe throw in some of the new girls once in a while.
The subtitles are soooo fast 😒
It's annoying to play back and back again...
Maybe you can show them a bit longer 🤗
@@littlescully3637 um the subtitles go as long as they speak.. you must be a slow or bad reader? 😭
I love heejae's energy
I love their reactions. I try to learn Korean again and I'm still at the beginning, but knowing that Koreans say but = ani often, will stuck in my head from now on 🤣🤣. Greetings from 독일
5 years ago, me and my friend were at a restaurant in seoul and the waitress came up to us and asked us if the food was ok because we ate in silence hehe 😅
I'm from Sweden so we eat in silence or just have a small talk with your friends 😊
or he could have just asked since you were in fact foreign
2:04 many european plus canada, new zealand, etc. have clean tap water. I never buy bottled water unless I'm in a situation where I don't have access to tap water. Don't wanna spend the money.
England is meh tap water but Scotland has good tap water!!💕
@@Manic_Panic It depends on where you are in America. In rural areas most houses will have access to a private well or spring, so the water is fine. City water, though typically cleaned and treated, can be a bit sketchy depending on the municipality. Even then, many, if not most, sinks and/or refrigerators have a built in water filter, so many Americans only buy bottled water for emergencies, traveling, or events. Obviously, I’m generalizing a bit, but I think, usually, Americans have easy access to fresh water without having to jump through too many hoops.
I hope you find this comment helpful and not annoying and also have a nice day! 😊
We also drink tap water in Hungary (Europe)🤭
Australian tap water is lovely tasting and very clean too. I live in a city surrounded by dams and reservoirs, no need to buy bottled water.
Just discovered this channel yesterday and bingewatched everything Heejae, Byungeun, Hoseung and Seungwoo were in... especially either of the trios are so extremely fun to watch. But I'm kind of sad that the newer videos don't have those trios anymore 😭 Will we get them back again? And I didn't see Byungeun in any of the videos of the last few months. Is he not doing it anymore?
I would also love them back 😢
It's not about whether you have bangs or not, or use rollers or not - it's about doing it while in public.
You forgot the obsession with MBTI personality types and blood types!
heejae is so beautiful mashallah🤩
So glad this trio is together again and the beast is back 🥺❤️ we missed you hoseung! 🫶
The way Heejae said "Let's see it" a big third leg is really something 😂
We don't wear hair rolls outside because it is something you do at HOME, and it would be like going out wearing slippers and putting on normal shoes just after arriving at your destination, people would think you didn't have enough time to get ready or that you are lazy. It is not because we don't wear bangs or "cute hair".
FINALLY THIS TRIO!!!!
Beast! and his third leg! 🤣😅🤣😅🤣 Thank you for teaching me more practical Korean as well!
The trio that makes me smile the most 🫶🥹
I can't sleep without turning on my fan. Eventhough it's raining hard or winter i need a fan . Most of them 90% like me in india
Even in winter because I can't sleep when the atmosphere is peaceful
a fan provides what is called "white noise" which is optimal for relaxing and sleeping :)
I loved this! It's so interesting to learn things such as the sofa stuff. In the US it depends where you live on whether you can drink the tap water. Almost everyone I know drinks bottled or sparkling water and I've lived in NYC, Los Angeles, Florida, Massachusetts and Pennsylvania. Still laughing at the third leg comment
me too ive lived in masschussettes and maryland and i drink tap water even though where i lived had private water but you have to buy the salt to filter it so my dad was skeptical to drink it
5:18 ㅋㅋㅋㅋ. I was waiting for Hoseung to say something like that. #beast
You should do a whole video on the frankly, insane relationship Koreans have with food. I've never heard food talked about so much and in so many situations as when watching Korean content.
Also, a lot of the things in this video are not Korean specific. I don't know many places in the world where that underboob shirt is normal, for example.
That’s it normal anywhere that there isn’t a pole in the middle of the stage.
food in any asian culture is this important
Japanese people are also very food oriented.
Oh, that was so funny to watch :) You Koreans are just as passionate as the Italians in Europe. Thank you, you made my evening.
So back in high school (in the US), I was at my friends house who is Korean (and I'm Chinese born in the US, so fairly Americanized, I think she came over when she was really young) and it was around dinner time so her mom asked if we wanted to stay for dinner (around 6/7pm) and eat with them. Dinner time was usually late at my house (around 10/11pm bc my mom had time-management issues 🤣aka master procrastinator) so I tried to be polite like that is okay. Well, I found out that you don't refuse a Korean mom's food and I stayed for dinner bc she made a feast. I didn't know what banchan was then so it looked like thanksgiving dinner with all the plates. 🥰But the thing that shocked me was that she laid out a mat in the living room with the tv off and started to put out food on the floor even thought she had a dinning table near the kitchen. I just thought to myself that she really wanted to have an in-door picnic in the living room or just wanted to eat in the living room but it was weird that the tv was off since the only reason to eat in the livingroom was to be able to watch tv. 🤣😅🤣 The other shocking thing was that all the food was bright red and I couldn't eat spicy food well. I almost died that day but I learned to take my spices well now. 😉
Then there was another time I ate with my Indian manager at an authentic Indian restaurant and he was showing me the proper way that Indians traditionally eat and that's with your hands - you tear some naan and you use it to pinch up some rice meat covered in sauce basically. He said you grab it and basically your making a mini taco. LOL, go figure. It was tasty though. So tasty, I went back with out an Indian friend and all the Indians at the restaurant stared at my table.
Omg!!! Lol.. The way u explained every process was hilarious. As an indian i hope u washed ur hands thoroughly before eating coz we eat mostly of roti, naan, with the veggies nd for that we mostly use hands.
Besides m glad u liked the food🙂💜
Many Indians Still eat on floors only, They lay mats on floor, And keep plates in front of the mats, serve in plates , a glass of water near each plate and sit on mat and eat food. And all the a vessels containing cooked meals is in very middle and peope sitting around it.Now -a- days many families buy a dining table set tho
fav trio is backkkkkkkkkk
For next video please send heejae and byunguen on a date with foreigners
Can we talk about how cute they look 🥹🥹💕
Finally our jolly Hoseung is backk!! Loving these trio so much!
Well in america we sit on the sofa/couch because our floors more than likely aren’t warm and most us perceive the floor to not be the cleanest place to sit or lie down even if it’s clean because people walk on it. Even if we don’t wear our shoes in the house, we still deem it as not the cleanest place to sit or lie down.
Hoseung ♥️
Awesome people of awesome world 🌎 stole my heart ❤
I am so happy to see them all together again. 💛 Loved their reactions.
P.S. My only critic is about the moving/wavy subs. It wasn't really pleasant to read...🙏
HEEJAE MY LOVE💗
Woow, seeing this trio after a long while!!
YAYYYYYY MY FAV TRIO IS FINALLY BACK !!!!!!!
Hoseung talking about his "third leg" 😂😂😂😂😂
I have never heard of the doors and windows thing while sleeping😳 I have never left a window or door open while I've slept in my entire adult life. I'm too afraid of something crawling in😓 lol. The couch thing was very interesting as well.
In switzerland we can drink safely tap water! There’s a national company in charge of making tap water drinkable in all the country :)) it’s really clean
I was missing this trio
These three are my favourite! In regards to walking outside with rollers in the hair, it remind me of black females in New York. You have to be confident to walk out of your home with rollers in your hair! 💕
The girl surely talks a lot , wow 🤣🤣. The poor boys were trying so hard to voice their say but one was failing over and over again however much he tried 🤣🤣🤣
Literally saw a girl in the subway wearing the bangs roller today, lol. I thought "Does... does she know? She didn't forget about it, did she?" Now I feel more confident that it was intentional. As for the tap water... As an American living in Seoul, I'm used to drinking tap water, but the tap water in my hometown was hard water (meaning it has lots of mineral deposits), and my family has one of those refrigerators with a water filter, so I always drank water from there. I drank the tap water here for several months because I don't like to buy bottled water, but it irritated my throat a little bit, so I bought a filtered water pitcher and have been using that instead.
1:26 The part where she explained that Korean eats while watching tv, I don’t know about other foreigners but for French people we also watch tv a lot, especially while eating lmao
Actually ..it's not just Koreans ..a lot of what they said applies to Indians..and i think many other Asians ...
Where I'm from, complete silence when eating is the biggest compliment, cause it means the food is so good u can completely not focus on anything else 😅😅
same thing in India when i visited they call the waiter out loud but in the states you have to wait and no yelling bc its seen as rude, but if you come to India feel free to just yell out, No worries!
Yeah in the US it's considered rude cause it seems like you're talking "at" them instead of "to" them. For those who may not understand the difference, talking "at" someone is a similar energy of someone being lectured/scolded, or simply being belittling. This same negative inference comes from snappiing or whisling. NEVER snap or whistle at your server in a restaurant. People see it like you're treating them like a dog (slave). If people ever need to address something urgently though, feel free to get up from your table to speak with the first worker you come across or the hostess/host at the front. This is completely polite. And this is coming from someone who used to be in the industry for 7 years.
Yeayyy ..its hee jae again with the guys..
I missed Hoseung
All I drink is tap water. Once we were told not to drink tap water because it had arsenic in it (this is in Uralla in Australia). This lasted for about 2 months while they fixed the problem. It was such a ridiculously long 2 months it was so frustrating to have to use water from bottles all the time.
In France, we mostly drink tap water but some drink filtered water (I do) or bottled. Also for the fan one, I thought you could catch a cold if you are too close to it when you sleep. I really hate people who make sounds when they eat especially eating with your mouth open, but it's mostly in our culture but personally,I like giving reactions when I eat something really good or refreshing (even in restaurants).
Same here in the US. Eating with your mouth open and making noise comes off as obnoxious and rude to those around you. Expressing your enjoyment of the food or drink by way of complimenting aloud with words is never viewed as rude or obnoxious though. In East Asian culture though, people never tell strangers to stop eating so loudly though because it's a "keep to yourself" mentality. So there are still many people who do it.
Huge applause and commendation for the Awesome World Team. There were a lot of videos showing what is done in America and other foreign countries that's different to Korea and I saw a lot of comments suggesting that they do a video showing us what is unique about Korea/Koreans and now here it is. It shows that they value their audience and appreciate their feedback. Keep up the good work guys. Loving Your Content
Heejae face looks different in every video since few videos..today she gave me the resemblance of chaeryeon and her sister…
The way Byuneun looks at Heejae while she is talking 😍💞
both India and Korea are similar in such things.....😂🙂
The way Koreans open crisps bags flat, if you know, you know👀
고마워요 Hoseung for the 아니 tip 😊
I'd love to see them doing a Mukbang and expressively eating 🍲 ✨ *아니* ✨ I really love this trio 💕
I'm Indian I think our habits are totally same with Koreans.
Omg I saw Byungeun in a k dating show recently... Missed this trio
Ooh I would love to watch it, as would many others. Please, would you be able to post the details?
Anyone else miss some of the old cast? Sehee, Jinkyu, Yeong jeong, Yeong Seol and Yeong jin...I probably messed up the spelling of the last 3 names but yall know who I mean
I also do some of the Korean things and I am greek
i have always loved this trio more than anyone
Waiiit wait wait...Koreans loves to be in line for things?...I thought that was us in the UK, we have LINES EVERYWHERE. hehehe!
when I lived in Korea, if Koreans saw a line, many got in it even if they didn't know what it was for haha
@@footballchica026 😆
but they are impatient and the english are not. y'all will wait in a queue forever and never complain. maybe exhibit a temporary mild disconcerted look but that's about it. lol
@@eternalptgmx True. lol
Same with Australians, we love a queue 😆
I think my country has the best tap water because I can't imagine buying bottled water for my house??? It seems goofy. Also, when I go to a café on hot days and ask for a cup of water it's always from the tap. When I found out other countries don't have safe drinking water from the tap I felt really bad, it seems like it's obvious, why else would you need water that's undrinkable in the kitchens tap water for example? I really don't know why some governments don't care about that, it seems like a basic human right
I am an Indian and i can relate with most of the things mentioned in this video
Thanks for the tip on how to be a fluent Korean speaker guys😉👍✌
Oh the fact about eating making noise I thought was real. Glad it's not hahhah. Luv this trioooooo
Heyyyyy love awesome world ❤
Even with bangs you won’t find anyone in my country using the rolls outside since it’s the mindset that you have to be already ready/dolled up when going out.
Ok sofa: Grandma covered with plastic covers and you slide off. Crossing your legs: a lady always crosses her legs. Bra or braless: a decent girl dresses to appear clean and modest. All girls have breaststroke but no one needs to advertise it. Rollers: only crazy Walmart people go out looking silly! LOL 😅 you kids are funny!
Actually in India we don't use tap water. For us everyday or multiple days water will come from pipe system .
India and Korea is very alike 😅😊..💜
yeah
Not really
I don't know Koreans was so wild & crazy . Just kidding , Korean stuff is pretty tame but I still think yall are fun to watch .
Thankyouuu 💗 love from indoo
In India on olden days we drink from lakes and rivers there are very clean water thats why our grandparents are really strong it exactly look like purified water and taste really sweet but now we have to buy water olden days water was free
The way I love this trio 🤣🤣
"Only people who didn't come from Instagram and TikTok are worthy of liking this.."
Sooo interesting!!
i was surprised that "i love you", screaming at the person bowing before them to confess love, like, going out on date and other interactions didnt make this list. first time i saw this was a asian girl who was a exchange student wanting to go out with a guy. which surprised me because i was young and thought that only males did confessions of this type from anime the only source i had at the time. i know other country's do this but i feel like its uncommon outside of the region.
You are amazing guys, love you and millions of blessings
Some of the things are same as Indian culture to sit down and to sit in hall while eating
Me who sleeps with fan on ever since I was born : 👁️👄👁️ I am destined to live long
If I left a window open while sleeping I would get eaten alive by mosquitoes. I used to have screens till my cats destroyed them 😩
Anni... I love seeing the Awesome World crew. 😅😅
Yassss i live for this trio....😍😍😍
Is Byunguen an actor? He definitely has that typical lead male look. Beautiful.
I sleep with all doors and windows closed and with two fans on me.
"third leg" 😏😏😏
Heejae and buyenguyn behaves like there having crush on each other ❤ 🤍 💙 🧡 🖤 ♥️ ❤ 🤍 💙 🧡
Yes thinking the same... it's obvious looking her body language and his too.
It's romantically cute :)
I like how they said that they never sit on a sofa but they weng through the whole video sitting on one😂💜👏
I realised that whenever im texting with my friends, i always reply like "yeah but.." or "no but.." i thought it was so weird of me to say it in every sentence but I can't stop it too 😂
My favourite trio is baaack!!
In the USA I don't think I've ever been asked if I wanted tap water or bottled... in which countries is that the norm?
Some restaurants ask, especially fancy ones but most middle class restaurants just bring tap water though these days usually it's filtered. Some places still serve unfiltered tap water and I usually can taste it and then I ask if they have bottled or sparkling. i don't trust the piping on some older restaurants.
In Australia we are asked if we want tap, spring, or sparkling water, at upper middle to high end restaurants.
В России пьют или фильтрованную или из кулеров. В рестране всегда приносят воду только в бутылках.
I saw hoseung in a korean ad today on tv.
