A dunno. I put one of those fuel cubes under my starter chimney, walk away, and 15 minutes they're all lit and ready to go. It couldn't be any simpler. This is a nice gadget though and I'm sure it works good, just seems time consuming to light a coal and let the fire spread. Just some thoughts 🙂

Issue is when the bigger pieces starts to break in the chimney…
I used mine for the first time. The best way to ever start coals in my Green Egg!
Just got one for my Dads new Green Egg. Hope he likes it!
Will this heat up bolts on a vehicle
I don’t know how this could be any better than a charcoal chimney. My coals are glowing hot in 15 minutes.
I agree Bruce, hard to beat the chimney but I think this device shines when trying to start a fire pit.
@@__DK. oh absolutely! I always use my torch when lighting firewood, especially when it’s cold outside.
Use a hair dryer under a chimney starter takes seconds to light
Cause he stopped once it got going.. pull away and get the flame really goin... usually takes bout 5 mins total 🤷🏽♂️
I need more than a 10 foot cord. Is it ok to add a 6 ft extension cord?
