I don't quite understand why there is only one cut... When there is three discontinuities... Should you not express 2 moment functions??? Appreciate your reply
The two equations you mentioned is handled by that bracketed quantity. The first equation is when the quantity inside the bracket is positive and the second is when the quantity inside the bracket is negative.
Sir may tanong po ako. What if po sa x=L hindi po fixed support, what if roller at pin po ang slope at deflection zero pa rin po ba ??????( y=0, y'=0) second question: kailan po hindi maging zero ang slope at deflection sa pag set ng boundary condition???
Ask ko lang po.is this method capable of answering all types of restrained beam questions.kasi ang hirap po mag memorize ng napaka daming formulas para sa board exams
Yes, DIM is capable in maybe not all but almost all types of retrained beams. If you are preparing for the board exam and you only do DIM then you position yourself at utter disadvantage, DIM is time consuming and difficult to deal with in varying EI. Most board takers do not actually use this method to attack problems unless necessary.
Maraming salamat po.napacn ko din po sya na mahirap sya gamitin sa varying EI pero napakadali nya gamitin sa mga constant EI na beams so id come up to use area moment method incase na may lumabas na varying EI questions
Very helpful.
Pinoy CE Student here! 😊
very helpful po tuloy nyo lang po ,galing nyo po mag edit kakabilib at sobrang clear ng explanation
Thank you for your kind words.
LODI KA TALAGA SIR VERTERA 😊
Mas lodi ka sir.
continue doing this po thank you
That's the plan and I hope I can.

sa pin at roller, hindi nagdedeflect and nag ro.rotate at the support
@@diennelarcayos7364 pero always po ba y=0 and y'=0 ang pag set ng boundary??
@@berniceelmaze2528 yes since hindi mag deflect @ supports zero din ang y'
@@berniceelmaze2528 yes because at supports slope (y') and deflection(y) is zero
@@diennelarcayos7364 thank u po
I want a lot of this Q
From whitch book l can find it ?
Strength of Materials
Can please make it with a value of variable so that much easy to learn.
Thanks for your suggestion. We will consider this in our upcoming videos.
tenkyo rin po
