After Not being Able to go Together, English Woodsman Challenged me to go Bivvy Camp at a 220 year old Brickworks Mill, Closed and Abandoned since the 1960's....Alone.
I reluctantly accepted the Challenge!
Upon Arrival! I was amazed at the shere Size of the Grounds the Mill Was Set. dilapidated beyond repair the site has been a hive for Urban Exploration, decorated artistically by an ever growing number of 'taggers' or Graffiti Artists.
Legend Has it that the Mill Was forced to close after a number of 'Work Related' Accidents. One of said Accidents believed to be an explosion in 1 part of the Mill, killing 18-20 people in the process, forcing the Mill Owner at the time in to paying Comphensation to families, having no money left to continue production, closing the gates indefinitely in the 1960's.
Since then, ghost stories and tales of paranormal activity have dominated conversations regarding the Mill.
Take a Look, and See What happens as I go Solo Bivvying in this Urban Legend, Not too far from Home.
Would You dare to Bivvy here Alone???
Accept the Challenge........and give it your best shot.

You two have done well it’s always better to do these kind of things in a group with like minded people i enjoyed watching this great video as usual keep up the good work 👍👍
Thanks man. Appreciate it defo a group next time.
You should consider doing more abandon buildings or urban wild camp there must be places in towns and cities you can camp in great video 👍👍⛺️⛺️
Yeah gonna look out for some more locations was a real eye opening experience. If you know anywhere.. let me know.
Brilliant and better then my video of my stealth camping there
No mate.. yours is better but thanks man... together next time... not alone again
@@OscarOutdoors22 Anyone else invited? wink wink LOL jokes
Great video mate, well done, watched English Woodsman's video last night. Keep up the good work 👍
Thanks man appreciate that!
Nice video. I would not be able to sleep there...😬. I like your channel. Subscribed. ✌️
I was there the night before and its creepy around 3 in to morning, I did not got any sleep
Just subscribed to your channel mate
Very kind. I like your videos. Great adventures. ✌️
Thanks man.. no didnt sleep at all... if I passed out woke back up by any little noise..
Returned the favour of Subscribe thanks mate ..
I think I'll stick to my forest camping. Don't know why but I would be more afraid of people showing up in there than the idea of ghosts. I worry less about the wolves, bears and coyotes that I listen to than I do about people being around. Well done for sticking it out for the night.
Thanks man appreciate that.. was a long night... would of been easier with company
Kudos for doing it mate takes some stones to do things like that . Top man .
Thanks man appreciate your words.
Lol
homeless folks and squatters do all the time.
oh I'd of been terrified there on my own... looks amazing though, great experience
I wasnt terrified, but on edge all night . It was an experience but never again solo. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment.
be great to do in a group I reckon
@@jessicabidgway9510 planning on going back with the English woodsman,
imagination can be a big scare factor for some people.
You seemed chilled enough and honestly, any ghosts
watching you eat that meal were probably just watching
in awe, lol. Well done.
Thanks man... can believe in left my coolest at home though.
. Gutted...lol
I would hate to do that Scott. I like exploring places like that, but the woods is the place for me overnight. 👍
Yeah i wasnt particularly keen on it mate. Not on my own anyway. Safety in numbers i think if i ever fo it again
I am on this mate
Thanks man... took ages... to edit and convert... hope you enjoy
Did a good job mate, I do like camping in haunted woods or building keeps you on the edge. Ady
Thanks man. Yeah that was my first time doing anything like that. But gonna try do some more. Thanks for watching.
OSCAR OUTDOORS I used to do the paranormal but I had to stop, I am hoping to go up north to do a camp with Englishwoodmen hoping soon. 👍 try Epping Forest that be a great night. Ady
It follows. Try filter coffee for the rolling boil technique. No mills left over my way, still a few over Halifax, huddersfield and that. Found some great bunkers over the years too and even the landing gear from a flying fortress back in the day. Cheadle hospital was a good one before being converted. I've done some good creepy disused mines too some of which are still accessible around the bacup area, if you've got a passport to go that way. ;-) Enjoying your videos Sir and do they still do badges in the Cubs and Scouts, I've still got my old necker and woggle.
Yeah I will mate list not managed to get out on more than a 1 nighter recently.
You'll have to share locations of the mills etc.. it was something we were quite interested in having a go at together. But a new location wouldn't ho a miss.
Thanks for watching, a great comment and your support
Yes to badges.. my daughter has an arm full...
Did a day explore of this place years ago. Nice one on sleeping over..... there loads of places like this where u can get outta the way. Always have an exit plan though as they do attract anti social behaviour after dark. Travelers love places like this to pinch scrap metal. Have subbed ya channel mate. ATB Coops
Thanks man and great advice.
I had an exit strategy... run... lol.
I have to agree iv stayed in woods that have attracted anti sociel behaviour from teenagers and ended up packing up going home to avoid trouble.
I enjoyed it when I did it I wasn't scared one bit honest hahaha plus I was with a mate 😂 great vid
Thanks man.. lol..
Yeah need to arrange a group camp there now
an.......ticipation is the worst thing. i've been out countless times, never ever had any 'spooky' experience, but then, i've never thought anything was gonna happen. as someone said below, there'd be more danger with a few blokes sneaking about looking for scrap.
but its all a good adventure !
Thanks man.. yeah the building just made noise all night.. glad I did it. But never again....alone..
@@OscarOutdoors22 lol nice !
Good vid. I have a question. Why did you take 3 gas canisters? Noticed Daniel took two large ones too. 🤔
I bought some extra used one as heater and one was on it's way out.. one is none.. two is one.
@@OscarOutdoors22 ahh got ya. I'll sometimes take 2 if I think ones on it way out. Was the 3rd that had me puzzled. 👍
Thanks man.. give this ago if you can
@@i3az I all way take to as well just incase one fails
Creepy Stuff! Id need the missus to protect me 😂😂🤣
Got to admit it wasnt my best idea...🤣🤣
Ghost 👻 boo watched EWM’s Monday night he looked like he was bricking himself, 💩 lol
It was a daunting place... It seemed to come alive at night making all kinds of noises
Oscar ill tell you what i told Dan, hat off to you i wouldn't of stayed there on my own. I would with someone else but not alone. Fair play mate
Thanks man.. I wont lie... it wasnt an enjoyable experience alone. But glas I did it.. thanks man.
I wanna say I'll do it but can I take a mate to chuck infront of any murderers or rapists that try and get me....
Ha ha yeah mate of course me and English Woodsman were supposed to go together... but couldnt make a day together... so challenged each other to do it solo..
Was certainly an eye opening experience as I dint dare keep my eyes closed... 🤣🤣
@@OscarOutdoors22 hats off to the both of you I've walked round abandoned buildings before and that was creepy but I think we could make this a massive challenge get loads of us doing it solo or with a mate. Good video pal look forward to the next ones. Cheers. Si
love it
@The Wild Campers UK definitely thanks again man
People play Airsoft there over the years
That would be great fun there!
